Wow! Just Wow! I finished this book last night, but I am still thinking about it. This book is amazing! I love this trilogy, I really love it. It is my favorite trilogy of all time, if not some of my favorite books of all time.

I have loved other books, but those are mostly for a character or romance that I loved. The Hunger Games I just love all around. I don't even think love is a strong enough word. These books are so powerful and intense and awe-inspiring. Everyone should read them!

This book made me cry in numerous places. Suzanne Collins did an incredible job building a world and characters and everything really.

I experienced everything along with Katniss. Every emotion, every day. There were times I wanted to scream at what she was going through. And Peeta, don't even get me started with Peeta. I felt so bad for him, it was awful. I love Peeta so much and I just wanted him to become Peeta again. Suzanna Collins knows exactly how to get her readers feeling and thinking.

Other books are great; but this trilogy is earth-shattering. I am in love!

This book was really cute. It was a short, light read. I enjoyed it.

Jane can tell what kind of person you are by the coffee drink that you order. And with this slightly strange talent, she starts matching people up with their perfect coffee drinking match.

I enjoyed the concept of the story, as well as the characters, but the book was so short that there was not much room for character development.

I did enjoy the story, and I liked that it was a stand alone book. Sometimes when I am reading a lot of series, I like to throw in a stand alone book to break it all up and get some new plots in my head. This book was good for that purpose.

It was well written and very easy to read.

I really liked this book. When I first found out it was about trolls, I was so skeptical. But it turned out really good.

I can't say im too fond of the Queen, but that is not surprising, since she is such a cold character.

I do like Wendy- she is so feisty and strong willed. I love that she does not let anyone push her around.
Unfortunately, I also really like Matt, and I was so upset when she had to leave him behind. I hope he plays a bigger role in the next two books and that things work out well for him because he is such a good guy.

And of course, I love Finn. He is so strong and moral. I want him to come and protect me. I was so sad at the end of the book, when he chose to leave because he was "looking out" for wendy and what was best for her. I cannot wait to see more interaction between Wendy and Finn in the next book.

The plot was interesting and has a good amount of mystery surrounding their world. Just enough to make you want to keep reading. I liked that I was left guessing and wanting more, but was never frustratingly confused about not knowing anything. I don't like books that leave you completely in the dark for too long, claiming they are trying to be mysterious.

Overall, this looks like it could be a very good series. There are still some loose ends to wrap up and more than enough room for more development and I am excited to see where the story goes.

There will be spoilers!

I love this series, but I must say this was my least favorite of the books so far. I don't really know what it was, The plot was interesting and enough new things happened to keep making me want to read but I wasn't as excited as I was in the other books. Don't get me wrong, I still loved this book. Just not quite as much as the first three.

I think it was Jace that bugged me the most. And yes, I do know that it wasn't his fault and he wasn't being completely himself. But that still doesn't mean I can't like this Jace a little less. I loved Jace so much in the first three books, but because of horrible Lilith and Sebastian, they made Jace moody and conflicted and he took it out on Clary. And as a result, there were not as many Jace and Clary goodness scenes in this book.

But I loved Isabel in this book! I thought she made some major breakthroughs at the end about why she never gets serious with anyone. Simon was really enjoyable in this book too. I liked reading about him and getting to see more of him here. I also really liked that Maia is starting to maybe find someone else. Because I really like her, and I don't want her to disappear from the series or become really bitter all the time about what Simon did.

The cliffhanger was pretty brutal at the end, I really want to find out what is going to happen next.

I love this series and I want to see tons more of Jace, but I really want to see some more of happy Jace if at all possible.

Greek Mythology is AWESOME, which makes this book awesome! I had already seen the movie, so I knew I would like the book a lot. I liked it even more than that! I am really excited to see what else is going to happen in this series. I know it is middle grade fiction but it did not feel that way to me. I was interested from start to finish.

There are a lot of mythical creatures packed into this book, and I would not want it any other way. Camp Half blood seems like such a cool place too.

I really liked Percy, he seems so much older than 12. Maybe that is why the young ages of the characters do not bug me at (like I thought they would) because they all act so much older than they are. They have all had a pretty tough life and have had to grow up fast.

Percy sets off on an adventure about 1/3 of the way through the book and that is when it really starts to get good. I loved the amount of mythology "facts" that were incorporated into the storyline. The nerd in me loved it, I felt like I was getting a greek myth lesson, along with reading about a really cool, high action, adventure.

I like how most of the half bloods have characteristics of their god parents. I wish I had read this book before I had seen the movie though so I could have been surprised with some of the twists and turns that happened. That is one of the reasons why I am so excited to reading the rest of the series, because it will all be new to me.

Really Great book!

This book made me want to break out my copy of the Odyssey so bad! I am loving mythology right now, and this is a great depiction of it.

I love Tyson! He was so adorable and loyal, I can't wait to see more of him! He loves Percy so much, and I think it really was good for Percy to be around Tyson, and have him as his "brother". I will admit that I was disappointed in Percy when he was getting annoyed at Tyson and treating him poorly when they got to camp half blood, and then I remembered that Percy is a 13 year old boy. I had completely forgotten they were so young! This just goes to show how mature they act in most of the book, which I like.

The plot in this book was really great too. It was lots of adventure and very fast paced. Anyone that likes the Odyssey will really enjoy this book, because Percy visits some of the same places and people that Odysseus did.

I am really liking this series and I can't wait to see what is going to happen next. Not much of the main series storyline happened in this book, because this installment was about saving camp half blood.

I can't wait to see what is going to happen next and I hope the next book has another trip to the underworld. (as a side note: I love that mount Olympus is in New York City and the underworld is in LA)

This book started kind of slow for me. Which was surprising, because with the previous two books I was immediately engrossed in the story. It took me like 90 or so pages for the story to really pick up for me. It ended up being really good, it just took a bit longer to get there than I would have hoped. Mostly I wanted to get through this book so I could continue on with the series. But the ending was really exciting, so that made up for the slow bits at the beginning.

I really liked meeting Artemis' hunters. Zoe was a really great addition to the characters in the series. I was pretty annoyed with Annabeth at the end of the story though; why on earth does she still feel attached to Luke?? I will never understand that. Poor Percy, I know that must have been hard for her to talk about Luke, when Percy came all this way to save her.

I was sad that there was no underworld trips in this book, but by the way the book ended I am pretty sure there will be some underworld fun in the next book!

And also, Mr. D really bugs me! (he did redeem himself at one point in the book by helping them save Bessie) He is so infuriating, he is one of the good guys but he seems almost evil at some points. I'm sure that Percy will win him over eventually, but until then I'm not a fan of his.

This book was good, but I am much more interested in the next installment; they are going into the Labyrinth!

This book is my favorite in the series so far! It was non-stop action from start to finish, and all of it was great. I devoured this book so fast! The series is really coming together, and I am sad that there is only one book left.

I really like how you find out the prophecy for each of the quests early on in the story, but it never ruins too much for you. Most of the time there are enough twists/new developments that the prophesy ends up not being what you first imagined. Rick Riordan did a great job of planning everything out, and he has put together such a great and complete, detailed series.

The idea of the labyrinth spreading across the entire United States is awesome! I love the detail that went into it. I also found the Sphinx(which is just one of the crazy creatures found in the maze) to be hilarious! I loved that instead of her customary riddles, she has been reduced to asking fact based questions and then the answers get fed into a scan-tron machine! And when Percy and company leave her, she is moaning about having to grade the tests by hand now. Too funny!

I loved how this series, is part mythology, part adventure, and part mystery almost. I love seeing the characters piece together the clues and figure out what they have to do next; where they have to go, or how they have to defeat a certain monster. It is a very engaging read!

Annabeth's jealousy was not too endearing for me, though. I felt bad that Percy had to put up with her standoffish-ness. I was so frustrated with her at the end, with the way she ended things with Percy.

Rachel was interesting, I still want Annabeth but Rachel seems so nice. I don't want her to get hurt either, however; she seems like a smart girl so I'm sure she is not oblivious to the situation between Percy and Annabeth.

I am loving how everything is coming together and the last book seems like it will be one huge, epic battle! I cannot wait to read it!

This series was great! I didn't want it to end. But, I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was non-stop action from the first page to the last. It was a little longer than the other books, but so much stuff was crammed into it. Nothing was left hanging, which I loved! All of the story lines came together and we finished getting the relevant back story for each of the the demi-gods. I enjoyed taking short breaks from the intense fighting to learn about each of the character's pasts.

This book also seemed funnier than the previous books in the series too! I would be reading about crazy battling for a while and then out of no where some cute or funny line would be thrown in to lighten the mood. I loved it! More than once I actually laughed out loud. The balance between intense adventure/battle scenes and lighter moments in the book was really enjoyable.

The twist with Rachel was really cool and I liked how she was worked into the storyline. I also loved how the sand dollar came into play. (Poseidon gave it to Percy in the 4th book, and told him to use it when the time was right. Ever since then, I was wondering when it would come up again) I really like it when a little detail can be woven into the story in such an interesting way.

The characters in this series are great! It is one thing to have a cool action/adventure story but when dealing with mythology there are so many fantastical creatures and gods that it can be hard to successfully incorporate them all. Rick Riordan did this in such a wonderful way. All his characters, and gods, and monsters were true to myth and seemed to leap off the page for me. They were so vivid, and I also loved that even though there were so many players in this series, none of them felt neglected to me. We learned so much about a ton of them, and I think this series really shone the spotlight and on a bunch of characters! That is not easy to do, so many times a series really only focuses on a few key players and the rest play background roles. I liked that this was not the case in Percy Jackson and the Olympians.

Percy is awesome! I love how mature he was throughout the series. (for the most part) And true to mythology, by the end of the book he had taught us all a lesson. (even the gods) I really enjoyed the development his character showed.

Another note on the characters- how are all of the myth animals so cute?? Seriously, I am in love with so many of them. Mrs. O'leary is awesome and so loyal! I got really scared a few times in the book that something might happen to her. Plus Bessie was adorable, swimming in her little tank on Olympus. And blackjack, the Pegasus. I want them all!

Overall, I LOVED this book, and the series! Anyone that likes mythology will love these books. They are so true to the excitement and adventure and fantasy that encompasses Greek mythology and they are a fun read that I truly enjoyed!
