This was a very fun little erotic novella. It definitely was humorous at some points and the plot was very pornographic and done well. Only problem was there was just extra fluff that wasn't needed but it wasn't a total issue, just unneeded.

For a short story this was very cute and the sex was actually pretty well written. There was good build up and it read like a porno which I loved. 

This was an interesting read and one I've seen float around the extreme horror community. I would more classify this as on the less extreme side only because the violence is not in graphic detail and are usually events that are mentioned vs actually shown. Don't get me wrong, they are gross.

The narrative was interesting because of how unphased the MC is by his actions and what he is doing. It's also interesting all the things he does is based on data and how he sees the world through numbers and stats.

Still, it is interesting how the story ends and that he is happy.

It was such a tense read that honestly got me real bad when it came to how I felt. The imagery was disturbing, but I know it could've been a lot worse.

You feel for the MC in the book, but it's hard to fully justify his actions. I understand the meaning and purpose behind it, but at some points it felt gratuitous. There is some social commentary in here and some of it I felt was a little misguided and lumped people into too small of a category. I do feel like the ideas coming from the MC were attached to his mental state so maybe they were enhanced.

Overall, it was a good book, not for everyone, but still a good extreme horror novel. 

Another amazing trip to Spruce! Cody and Trey are so cute together and I love their like enemies to lovers dynamic.

I truly love this manga and the ending is very reflective on the different types of relationships people can have in society. It's a very tense moment when Hideki has to confront his feelings for chi and what that could mean, even if he fully doesn't know. What I enjoy is that there is a focus on loving a person, even if they can't fulfill all your desires, which is something that a lot of people expect, their partner to be perfect. It's just not possible but that doesn't mean love isn't still possible.

i really enjoyed this and the story was very interesting. Kind of reminded me of the movie ATM. There was a lot of reflection on the MC's part and it was an interesting concept for a novella. If you don't like spiders and snakes, you might be better staying away.

So this book was...interesting. It's done very well when it comes to the idea of being an Asian in America and how the prior cultural norms and cause conflicts with the current times. There is also a lot of social commentary on how Asian women are treated, viewed and how they are expected to be and how that can be socially constraining.

However, my main issue was there seemed to be a lot going on and the quick chapters made the story seem faster than it was. it seems like the narrator is unreliable at times and that her views skew reality, especially with what we find out at the end. The MC ends of being very selfish and becoming a very destructive person in a short period of time. I found I grew to dislike her the longer we were stuck with her.

I can see a lot of people enjoying this but to me it felt very "I Was a Teenager Slasher" which I did not enjoy at all. This book was better, but overall it wasn't fully for me.
