My heart broke for both Cade and Ivy and everything they have experience and for everything they have to overcome together. Their love for each other is so strong, despite what has happened. Vengeance is dark, but so emotional.

We get the story from Cade, Ivy and Drew’s POV. It is twisted, it is suspenseful, it will have you on the edge of your seat. This story may not be for everyone, especially when it comes to what Ivy had to endure at the hands of Drew but I found myself having a hard time to put it down.

Strong and funny heroine? Check.
Cocky, sexy, swoon worthy doctor? Check.
Office/enemies to lover’s romance? Check.

I loved everything about this story. Bailey Jennings is strong, she is funny and despite everything life has thrown at her she is an amazing guardian to her little sister, Josie. Matt Russell is a cocky Doctor that has a reputation at the hospital for being tough to work with. Will Bailey be able to deal with the arrogant doctor? Well, things don’t start out so well.

Bailey and Matt are complete opposites who can’t be anymore perfect for each other in and out of the operating room. Their chemistry is fantastic, I love their banter with each other. Bailey isn’t afraid to stand up to Matt, well unless it comes to her feelings and then she may be kind of mess. Matt is complex. He comes off as the arrogant surgeon, but deep down he is sweet and caring. Plus hot as sin.

We don’t all need to be subjected to that level of forearm porn while eating dinner, tyvm.

From the very first word I was hooked and I couldn’t put this book down. I loved every single minute of it. This story was the perfect slow burn romance. It is funny, it’s sexy and every single character is amazing and well written. Definitely one to add to your TBR!

After reading Vengeance I was looking forward to Chaz’s story, but once I started it I kind of had mixed feelings about it. The story will build and then kind of crash at times, I found it hard to keep my interest because it would slow down so much.

I was not a fan of Jillian, she kind of annoyed me at times and was slightly immature, but I also get with everything she has experienced can play a role in that. Chaz on the other hand was badass. Who know an assassin could be so sweet and caring. You could feel the love he had for Jillian throughout the story. This had a slow burn romance sort of feel to me because of the fact Jillian didn’t even know Chaz’s name until about 40% into the story or had they been face to face with each other. There is no denying their chemistry.

Despite the story being slow at times, I did enjoy it. Like Vengeance, it was dark and twisted, but there are also some things that may be triggers to many and could make this a difficult read. I can’t wait for Nick’s story!

I absolutely loved this novella. Bree and Damien’s banter was perfect. Their chemistry was off the charts.

Damien literally runs Bree over, she wants nothing to do with the arrogant doctor. I mean, he asks her out after running her over. Who does that? Bree really never wants to see this man again, only he is also her new neighbour.

I loved watching Bree and Damien’s story grow and Bree work through all of her unresolved issues with her family and relationships.

Maxwell is a mystery but I am so glad that he got a story. I absolutely loved him and Millie. I am in love with everything and everyone in Peacock. There is just something so charming about the town and the people in it.

Millie hasn’t had it easy, but she still manages to work hard for both her and her daughter, Ivy. She is able to get a fresh start in Peacock, but she didn’t expect to meet Maxwell. Maxwell tends to keep to himself, but that man is swoon worthy.

As much as I love Maxwell and Millie, Ivy honestly stole my heart. I love that we got more of the characters from the previous stories as well.

Magic Man is another fantastic story and definitely one that I would highly recommend to anyone.
