Pepper and Jace are back and they are better than ever. It is hard not to fall in love with these two all over again. Pepped Up & Wilder is the final book in their story and there is nothing they can’t face together.

We’ve been through so much together, I can handle anything. They don’t know who they’re dealing with.

This book truly took my on an emotional roller coaster. I truly felt for Pepper, once you read the story you will understand, I don’t want to give any spoilers to it. I found myself laughing, crying, smiling, and just falling in love with every single character in this series all over it.

Not only is the story beautiful and the perfect ending to the series, but I absolutely love Ali Dean’s writing style, there is something about it that draws me into the story and makes me feel like I am there. PLUS, I absolutely loved the epilogue to this story. It takes place 16 years in the future and we get a glimpse of what happened in their lives over the last 16 years.

For anyone who is a fan of the Pepper Jones series this is one book that you won’t want to miss out on.

VR Baucke is a new to me author and I will continue to read more from her in the future. Living for Today is a beautiful story of a young woman who is looking to escape the demons of her past, but what she doesn’t expect to find is someone who can completely change her world.

Seven thousand miles is a gut-wrenching distance, and I can assure you it is absolutely possible to live with your body and your heart in different continents.

Emily and Austin are two broken people, but sometimes two broken people can fix each other. Emily is on vacation in California, visiting friends she had met in New Zealand. She needed to get away from her past, even if just for a few weeks. Austin is spending the Thanksgiving holiday with his family and the girl who is friends with his older brother and sister in law. Though, these two didn’t start on the right foot and that led to many do overs.

“I’m Emily Dixon and I judge people for the way they treat me, not the burdens they carry.”
“I’m Austin McKenna and I hope to God you’re real.”

It is so hard not to fall in love with these two and their relationship. Emily is strong, she is independent and she isn’t afraid to be herself. Austin may seem like he has his life together, and he does for the most part, but there is also a part of his life that many don’t know about, a part that seems to be the source of a lot of drama. Reading about these two and their need to be there for one another when they both need it most was beautiful.

This story had me laughing, it had me smiling, it had me crying (so make sure you have your tissues ready) and most of all it had me believing. Austin comes across as an arrogant jerk, but the more you get to know him and the more you see the real him, he will make you swoon, especially over his love for two most important people in his life.

This is a duet, so the story does end of a little bit of cliff hanger and I can’t wait to read book two! On a side note, can I also just say how gorgeous is this cover?! I am in love with it and it will definitely be one that I will be adding to my bookshelf in the future.

Just One Kiss just jumps right into it, Corbin and Palmer have a love/hate relationship. Corbin wants Palmer, but she wants nothing to do with the frat boy she hooked up with once. Well, at least that is what she tells him. But one tragic accident changes the course of their feelings for each other.

“You can’t fix me, Palmer.”
“I don’t want to fix you.”

I absolutely love all these boys and the frat house. I absolutely love that someone was finally able to get under Corbin’s skin. Corbin is the opposite of his twin brother, he is a bad boy, but under that prankster and bad boy there is a teddy bear.

I couldn’t put down this story. I found myself laughing (because how can you not laugh when it comes to this crew?), I found myself swooning over Corbin, loving how down to earth and real Palmer is, crying (grab your tissues! You will need them), and feeling pain and loss right along with everyone else.

Another fantastic story in the series and Corbin’s may be my favorite of them all. Definitely one you don’t want to miss out on.

A sexy, standalone best friend’s older brother romance. This is the first book I have read from the author and I enjoyed the story. I am a sucker for this trope.

Jessie just landed her dream job and she is determined to be successful in it. Shawn, is the older brother of Jessie’s best friend, Talia. Talia is in London and she needs someone to sublet her room in the apartment she shares with Jessie, enter Shawn.

Their initial meeting was priceless, I mean he literally just crawled in to bed with her. These two are complete opposites of each other and they know they shouldn’t be together. The “Shawn Effect” wins again.

Though, this story was somewhat predictable it was still a fun, sweet, sexy read. Watching Jessie and Shawn’s relationship to grow was sweet. For anyone who is a fan of the best friends older brother romance this is definitely one to check out.

She was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen, encased inside the bakery’s picture window like a living piece of art.

There are no words describe how much I am in love with Langley Park. The Measure of Home did not disappoint! Gabe and Monica’s story was sweet, it was heartbreaking and it was sexy.

Gabe had spent years watching Monica while he delivered the morning paper, until one day he was able to express how he truly felt and the rest was history. Both Gabe and Monica wanted to feel like the belonged in the world, they had dreams, they had hopes and they had plans together, but fate didn’t seem to work out in their favor. They both go their separate ways, but end up back in Langley Park working together again, thanks to everyone’s favorite Oma.

Mise en place is a way of life where, order, precision, and perfection reign supreme.

I couldn’t put this book down. I am in love with Gabe and Monica’s story. I can’t say I feel bad for Monica after what she did. I was truly rooting for Gabe throughout the story. He deserved everything he had worked so hard for.

Oma is serious goals though. I was in love with her from the start! She reminded me of my Oma. She was feisty, hardworking and she knew what was going on. She loved both her granddaughter, Monica, but she also loved Gabe.

This is another fantastic story from Krista. I definitely recommend to start at book one in the series, though, this could be read as a standalone, the others are fantastic and give you some background into some of the other characters.

You are not measured by where you come from or what you have or don’t have. You will be measured by what you do. You will be measured by how hard you work.

Faith is the 5th and final book the SEAL’ed series and I don’t think I am ready to say goodbye to this crazy bunch that I have grown to love. I am so happy that LT aka Justin finally got his story!
Justin and the rest of the guys are back in the desert and away from their wives and children. Emma encourages Justin to sign up for a pen pal so he can receive letters while away. Little did he know it would change his life.

Becca is a marine widow, a single mother to her 3-year-old daughter, Olivia, whose father never got the chance to know about her existence before he died. Becca will do anything to protect her daughter and make sure she is happy. When she sends a letter to a soldier who is deployed, she doesn’t expect it to turn into so much more.

I absolutely love Becca and Justin, but it is little Livie who really stole the story. She is so adorable, sweet and instantly connects with everyone. The little girl instantly bonded with the entire group and they all fell in love with her.

I love Becca and Justin’s relationship and their letters/e-mails were sweet and you can see the bond forming between the two. They both felt like outcasts and found comfort, friendship and love with one another.

I was also kind of hoping we could all be friends. I have a good feeling about her. – Emma.

Becca’s friendship with the girls may be my favorite thing, though. She instantly was accepted by Emma, Katie, Avery and Amber.

I can tell this is going to be the start of a beautiful friendship and the need for a lot of bail money.

I love how much Amber and Avery take to Becca and how much Becca connects with them. Those girls are in their own world and I love them. They bring the comedy to this series!

This story was the perfect ending to the series, though I am sad it is over. I absolutely loved every single book and falling in love with every single character. I love that the crew was able to find their own happily ever afters.

This is the final book in the series, however, it can easily be read as a standalone. I haven’t read any of the others but I didn’t find myself lost with the story at all. Cam places a bet with his friends and teammates that he can’t spend two months with a woman without falling in love. Seems easy to Cam so he jumps on the bet, but sometimes things in life aren’t so easy.

When they first meet they have ulterior motives. Cam wants to win a bet with his team and Olivia wants Cam to be a celebrity spokesperson for her non-profit. Cam and Olivia both agree that they aren’t dating, this is just about hooking up. But the more time they spend together feelings and emotions start to change.

There is no denying the chemistry between Cam and Olivia, it is seriously kindle melting hot! But watching them help each other and watching them struggling with their emotions was really what drew me into the story. Of course, like anything it isn’t always smooth sailing and they do run into some bumps in the road throughout the story.

I did enjoy this story and will definitely be going back to read the other books in the series.

Lily May is sweet as apple pie and just wants to impress her boss by landing a job planning the charity even billionaire Ashton Mills plans every year. They live in the same building so it shouldn’t be so hard to snag the job. Lily May and Ashton end up running into each other in the elevator a lot, to the point where some might consider it to be stalking.

I absolutely love Lily May, she is sweet and hard working and definitely will work hard to prove she is the right person for the job. Ashton seems like a tough billionaire but he is truly a big softy at heart. I love the relationship he has with his Dads.

The chemistry between Lily May and Ashton is also on point and it comes to major head on New Years Eve when they get stuck in the infamous elevator in their apartment building. That night changed everything not only in their relationship together, but also changed Ashton’s relationship with his own family. It gave him a new outlook on life.

Going Down may be my favorite out of the series so far but I can’t wait to see what is in store next for this group of friends!

Morgyn is a free spirit. She brings life into used objects and turns them into something new. She lives life to the fullest and goes to the beat of her drum. She lives life moment by moment and doesn’t really plan ahead. Graham assesses the risks but also isn’t afraid of a little adventure. He likes control and he likes to plan ahead. Morgyn and Graham are complete opposites of one other, yet there is denying the instant attraction between the two.

Morgyn and Graham are everything I never knew I wanted in a book. This story was hot, it was romantic and it was perfect. Their love for life, for each other and their families is what makes this story so heart-warming. Graham is seriously swoon worthy and Morgyn’s quirkiness is what makes her so unique and stand out from other female heroines.

I loved everything single thing about this book and I can’t wait to see what is next for the Montgomery and the Braden families!

Grady Carmichael is seriously swoon worthy! Collins is the little sister of his best friend, they also grew up next door neighbors and their parents are best friends. She should be the last girl he falls for, but three years ago their relationship changed forever.

During their three year separation Grady worked hard in medical school and had his heart set on a residency that would bring him back home and back to the one girl who had his heart. Collins was heartbroken over what Grady did to her so when he returns back home she wants absolutely nothing to do with him, well at least in her head. Her heart feels differently.

For anyone who loves a second chance, best friends little sister romance this would be one I highly recommend. Grady is serious book boyfriend material, he works hard trying to prove he is in it for the long run. I was instantly crushing over him, despite the jerk move he made. It took me a little longer to warm up to Collins, but once I did I loved her two. Together, their chemistry was perfect. This story was sweet, sexy, at times I found myself laughing and other times I found myself crying.

This is another fantastic story from Kaylee and definitely one that I will read again and again. A must read for 2019!
