I loved this book and I really hope it becomes a series because I need more Meredith Somerset in my life. She’s just such a great character and I loved her relationship with her boss. Tyler was an interesting one and I kept swinging between loving and hating him. After the first few chapters, I thought it was going to be one of those books where you know who the bad guy is from the start but then bam suspects everywhere. Willow Lane really is a wild place to live. I had no idea who it was going to be but what a wild ride it was. I couldn’t put it down. Also with regards to the ending, I’m normally not a cliffhanger ending kind of girl but it gives me hope that there’s more to come and we will get a series because I need answers.  This is such a great series with some lovable characters. I really enjoy getting to see Ellie, Derrick, Shondra and Cord’s relationships strengthen and how they grow as characters. The descriptions are so perfect that I felt like I was lost in the icy wilderness. As with the rest of the series, it’s a tense hunt for the killer that keeps you on your toes. I had no idea who the bad guy was or how it was going to end. Talk about suspense. If you love a thriller with a team of great characters then I recommend this one.  I do really enjoy this series but I am still a bit baffled by Jessie’s role. She’s an ER nurse who also works in the ME Office as a forensic nurse, as well as, being a liaison between the police and the ME. I also struggle to believe that she always finds the clues that the police and forensics miss. That being said it is a nice easy who dunnit read with some great characters, especially Jessie’s neighbour Rufus. This is the 3rd book in the series and I did guess who the killer was as soon as a certain character was introduced but I still enjoyed seeing the case come together. If you’re looking for a crime thriller that isn’t too heavy then definitely check out this series. I received a copy of the ebook via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review

Wow, this book was chaotic and I loved every second of it. There is just so much drama for such a tiny Island. I did guess the main twist but I had no idea how it would be proved. Plus there were so many other characters that I didn’t know who else couldn’t be trusted. It’s a fast paced read that sunk its teeth into me and I could not put it down. I finished it in a day. I really enjoyed Georgia’s character and I was so invested in her and Lincoln’s stormy relationship. His little girl was also an adorable addition to the story. I need more from this series asap. I will also be reading more of Maegan Beaumonts work as I really enjoyed her writing style. I received a copy of the ebook via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review
