I do really enjoy this series but I am still a bit baffled by Jessie’s role. She’s an ER nurse who also works in the ME Office as a forensic nurse, as well as, being a liaison between the police and the ME. I also struggle to believe that she always finds the clues that the police and forensics miss. That being said it is a nice easy who dunnit read with some great characters, especially Jessie’s neighbour Rufus. This is the 3rd book in the series and I did guess who the killer was as soon as a certain character was introduced but I still enjoyed seeing the case come together. If you’re looking for a crime thriller that isn’t too heavy then definitely check out this series. I received a copy of the ebook via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review
