An action packed, emotional sequel with the most endearing crew of bandits you’ll ever find yourself rooting for! ⁣

I really enjoyed

A sexy, slow burn romance full of banter, emotion and heart. ⁣

Despite my initial rolling of the eyes at the overuse of the word lumberjack and possibly the word plaid too this book won me over. It was entertaining, emotional, sweet, romantic and had a sexy slow burn that ends with some serious

Not just another sweet romcom! This one balances fun romance with heaviness that has a lasting impression.

How to Fail at Flirting was so easy to get lost in. A huge thank you to Penguin Random House Audio for providing me with the audiobook! ⁣

I loved Naya - she’s a professor of education which as an educator instantly endeared her to me. I loved how real she was, focused and driven but also wanting to find love but too scarred by her previous relationship to think it was possible. Jake was like a breath of fresh air - he was kind, considerate, driven and goofy in the cutest way. ⁣

Their instant chemistry was unexpected for both of them but impossible to ignore despite a failed hookup that had me laughing out loud. This is such a feel good romance but it also deals with some very serious issues including abuse and it’s lasting effects in such a natural, authentic and positive way. ⁣

This book delivered so much more than I was expecting. It was emotional, funny and

What an AMAZING audio! It took this book to a whole other level for me - a must listen!

A behind the scenes look at sex, drugs and rock & roll and a fictional rock band you won’t soon forget! ⁣
⁣It’s time I proclaim it - I love TJR! I wasn’t sure if Daisy Jones was something I’d enjoy but I figured I’d give the audiobook a try. Ummm, what the hell was I thinking not listening to this before!? This audiobook is amazing. I honestly forgot I was listening to an audiobook and that this wasn’t even a real band. This book is like watching a Behind the Music documentary where you can’t look away from all the drama - there’s love, betrayal, substance abuse & addiction, family, friendship and so much more explored. ⁣

I don’t think this book can replace my beloved Evelyn Hugo but damn, this full cast audio is a true listening experience and I highly recommend it! TJR - I will never doubt you again. Here’s to me putting all your books on auto buy from now on.

The modern day reimagining of King Arthur that you need in your life! ⁣

Holy, brilliance! Tracy Deonn blew me away book friends! Bree is such a strong, smart, determined and emotional protagonist. She is easy to root for and care about. The world Deonn builds and all the magical elements are woven in beautifully and were just so interesting. I loved discovering it all right along with Bree and I wanted to know everything - I was captivated. ⁣

Tracy Deonn managed to weave in black history, oppression and prejudice so skillfully and seamlessly into this reimagined tale as well. And don’t get me started on the emotions - death, grief, loss, friendship and love all play huge roles here and you will feel each and every one of them. Plus, there is an element of mystery as we try to figure out who the bad guy is that had me unable to stop listening bc I had to know what was going on. ⁣

There is a bit of a love triangle in the making aspect here that I was soooo excited about! I thought the relationships between Bree, Nick and Sel were so well done. Nick is great as your typical hero type but by now you all know I tend to root for the bad boy and the underdog so Sel absolutely stole my heart in this book! ⁣

If you enjoy fantasy listen to me right now -read this book!!!! Legendborn has so much to offer and I feel like it deserves more attention and praise! I simply can not wait to get more from this series! Tracy Deonn, I hope you are writing the next book fast and furiously -

A dark, disturbing and frighting look at both motherhood and childhood! ⁣

This seems to be the kind of psychological thriller that you either love or hate. Based on my 5 star rating you can see I loved it! This book had me hooked yet feeling uncomfortable as I read it. ⁣

Blythe had a less than nurturing childhood and is determined to be the kind of mother she never had. But when her daughter, Violet, is born she suffers from postpartum depression and doesn’t bond with her baby as she had hoped. As the years go on, she believes that something is wrong with her daughter but her husband doesn’t see it or believe it. Is her child truly evil and capable of deliberately heinous acts or is Blythe more like her own mother than she’d care to admit? ⁣

There were some disturbing moments in this book, made even more chilling because they involved a child. Is there anything scarier than an evil child? Soooo creepy! This book had me on edge as I tried to sift through to the truth - who was truly the problem in this family, the mother or the daughter? I couldn’t pull myself away from this audiobook and I binged it in a day. After the constant push & pull and up & down in my thoughts and feelings while reading this book, the ending simply left me shook! Loved it! Can’t wait to see more from this author in the future.⁣

Thank you Penguin Random House Audio for gifting me the audiobook. All opinions are my own.
