How to Fail at Flirting
by Denise Williams
Not just another sweet romcom! This one balances fun romance with heaviness that has a lasting impression.
How to Fail at Flirting was so easy to get lost in. A huge thank you to Penguin Random House Audio for providing me with the audiobook!
I loved Naya - she’s a professor of education which as an educator instantly endeared her to me. I loved how real she was, focused and driven but also wanting to find love but too scarred by her previous relationship to think it was possible. Jake was like a breath of fresh air - he was kind, considerate, driven and goofy in the cutest way.
Their instant chemistry was unexpected for both of them but impossible to ignore despite a failed hookup that had me laughing out loud. This is such a feel good romance but it also deals with some very serious issues including abuse and it’s lasting effects in such a natural, authentic and positive way.
This book delivered so much more than I was expecting. It was emotional, funny and
