i was so excited for this book. hockey romances are my thing, and we need more sapphic hockey romances (and romances in general). but it fell short. 

nat is insufferable and needs therapy more than she needs a relationship. and maybe a job?? darcy needs to realize her privilege and use it to her advantage more. 
the relationship is so toxic, i can’t see it lasting the eight months before the epilogue, let alone life together.

yall… i hate to be that girl but i can’t remember a single thing about this book other than that the twists were as twisted as a girlie with pin straight hair fighting with a curling iron on low heat, the characters were insufferable, and the amount of times i had to rewind was insane. 

this book was really interesting. i liked the flow of the story, the characters had depth, and the conclusion was exactly what i wanted. 

this book was a fun listen. i enjoyed trying to figure out who did what and when and how. it was a unique storyline, i liked the narrators, and i liked the twists. 

this was a wild ride. probably would’ve rated it lower but there was a twist at the end that had me SHOOK so i felt like it deserved a 4 star rating. 

good listen. basic storyline. so many characters and names but the different narrators helped the separation. 
resolution was kind of out of no where? but it wasn’t bad. i enjoyed the story. 

i read another book by this author and liked it well enough that i figured i’d like this one too, but i wasn’t sure i’d LOVE it. but i did. i listened using adaptive spacial audio which i think made the whole thing feel more realistic. 
i also liked how i wasn’t trying to guess who the villain was the entire story, rather i was learning about the main characters through their struggles. 
it was interesting, i loved the characters, and i would recommend this audio. 

this was a fun addition to this series. i really enjoyed seeing more of Amanda and who she is outside of the Cora storyline from the first book. 
it wasn’t super realistic but i had fun trying to guess who did what, what caused what, and who ended up where. 

tj newman really knows how to make me ugly sob.

i was skeptical going into this book. i saw one not so good review, and almost let it shape my views, but im so glad i gave it a chance. 
the storyline was wild. very a good girls guide to murder meets the inheritance games meets killing november.
the audiobook was especially fun. i was listening while doing other things and the amount of times i froze and my jaw dropped is insane.  my favorite thing about this book is how back and forth maren was, because that’s so real of her.
