This was……. fine. Not my fave in the “I Survived” series. Could have been longer. Perfectly serviceable for a younger audience.

Ouch! What a sad and impactful novella. Slowly falling in love with Bachman’s stories.

Cute easy read! Wasn’t crazy about it either way.

This was an insightful, quick, and emotional read. Loved hearing about Sasha’s history, and thought the historical pieces weaved in with her personal stories beautiful. I only wish it was longer! Would have loved to hear more about the punk scene, and now that intersected with Native identity. Highly recommend, especially to those on Duwamish land.

This was an exhilarating read! Honestly, I only barely grasped the story, but the art style engaged me enough to keep me coming back for more.

I feel like I haven’t seen anyone talk about this book?????

For the most part, I was totally engaged, the premise was super interesting, and it
was fun to see what someone would do if they were all of a sudden sucked into the future. I think the author could have done MUCH more with the plot, but for the most part I enjoyed it.

Wow wow WOW!!!! I regret not picking this up sooner. For sure like nothing I have read before, how exciting this was to read. Connecting pieces of the puzzle, witty and silly characters with flaws that are SO well described. Highly impressed!

Another great book by Adib! I went in with pretty high expectations, considering how strong their first two books were, and for the most part I was satisfied. I think that the book is in its prime in the first half, as we get to see the boys on tour, and the drama that ensues. I appreciate that the main character is allow to be a #messygay, and I feel was realistically portrayed for somebody in that position. I also HEAVILY enjoyed the bits between chapters, (email exchanges between managers, text messages, tabloid articles, etc.) they really added to the story, and contextualized the fame of the characters involved. Where the book fell flat for me was the romance elements, I just didn’t buy the attraction and the actions that transpired. It is successful in the sense that it is VERY melodramatic. If you enjoy boy bands, flawed characters, and Canadian culture references, I would highly recommend!
