far too academic for me. there were some insightful bits in what I read, but not enough for me to continue.
I wanted to get into this due to the setting but I was sooooo bored and not into it!
maybe short stories aren’t my thing, none of them were really sticking with me, unfortunately
I usually like King but I just am not connecting with the setup for this story!
I simply do not care about these characters to continue, and I LOVE books set in a reality TV competition!
The location, character based story, and general bleakness didn't work for me, as nice as the writing was.
LOVED the art, but my lack of knowledge of ancient gods seems to have hindered my enjoyment of this.
partially pick this up because of the title, stopping now because a medical character driven narrative is just is not working for me
I haven't read any of the author's previous work, so I feel I may not truly appreciate this book.
