My goodness this short graphic novel was amazing. The use of color? Spectacular. How did the characters become so fleshed out in such a short amount of time? Only thing I didn’t love is how abruptly it ended!

A very fascinating look into queer media, I found that some of the points were hard to connect as far as timeline goes, but this was great for fans of queer television in general.

Great diverse book for young readers! I enjoyed learning about Alice Austen as well. It was also really cool to highlight older 'mentors' for queer kids. What bothered me in this book was how annoying some of the characters were, like I would not enjoy hanging out with some of these people LOL.

Bill is one of my fave young adult authors, so I was really excited to read this! The story was told with so much heart and care for the subject matter. I could really feel what the characters were going through.

Quick and we’ll told graphic memoir! Art wasn’t my favorite, but it got the emotions across just fine. It ended rather abruptly as well, I thought there could have been a better way to wrap up the whole story.

Emily Henry’s books are a great time, and this was no exception! I enjoyed the format of going back in time. Was it a little predictable? Sure, but I loved spending time with these characters!

Oh, what a brilliant and insightful book. I’ve always been fascinated by pigeons, everywhere, but never personally bothersome to me in the city. I’ve always wanted to pick one up as well. I didn’t realize the sordid past these cuties had, and that gave me a better appreciation of them! BRB, on my way to find a pigeon to pick up.
