Sassy Planet: A Queer Guide to 40 Cities, Big and Small
Harish Bandari, David Dodge, Nick Schiarizzi
informative

This is a stunning book, kinda reads like a long literary magazine as well which is unique. I think this book is mildly mis-marketed. It skews towards nightlife/bar recommendations, with a handful of restaurants and local sights, but that’s about it. I think it’s important for queer travel books to recommend things other than spaces centered around alcohol/drugs.

Really sad but real story. Ain't no hate like Christian love. I'll say I wouldn't really consider this a graphic novel, don't think the images added too much.

i’ve never read a middle grade chapter book with horror elements! that was fun to see an accessible version of the genre. I was missing a bit more whimsy. but still an en chantingly dark read

Not really understanding the hate for this one! It felt like a peak into a life well documented, a life with flaws and heart. Life ain't pretty all the time.
