How far would you go to escape a difficult situation... would you make a deal with a demon in the woods? For Irys, her father has just put her in an impossible position, he has sold her hand in marriage to a lecherous Duke who is too old and too disgusting. He sold her to cover his debts, for one hundred extra coins and an ale of beer.... and Irys will have no part in it. She decides that the best way to escape this situation is to make a deal with a demon that is said to live in the Woods. Irys has no where else to go to and she’s willing to sacrifice everything to be freed. Yet the moment she meets this demon she feels something strange... and what he asks for in exchange for granting her wish.... might lead to the most unexpected outcome for both of them. This was such a fun monster romance, it was short and spicy and heck I loved it.
Melody yearns for the simple life she use to have before her father suddenly became wealthy and is now consumed with it.... to the point where he is forcing her to get married to a horrible man. Melody wants no part of it but then suddenly the Kraken of the Darksea appears and says he’s come to collect from her father who has stolen from him and what he wants is Melody. Melody is traded by her father, his life for hers and she is absolutely livid. She is then taken to the palace of the Kraken where he tells her that he wants her for a bride and that she is the most precious thing to him. Melody’s entire lie is now turned upside down, going from being neglected and unheard to suddenly being taken care of and protected by her new living situation. For the first time in her life Melody now has someone who listens to her, takes cate of her, and puts her needs before their own and now she finds that maybe this is the perfect change she needed. I love this serious period, if you like monster romances then this is the perfect book to read. Seriously its so good.
The cheesiest and most adorable queer love story you could ask for (complete with a cute dog, some amazing friends, and fashion for days).
Lady Camembert just wants to be free to live her life her own way, and especially without being forced to marry a man. But the law of the land is pretty set in stone that woman cant inherit, and before her father passes away he offers her an alternative solution... she’ll have to become a man to inherit and keep a low profile. Lady Camembert, now Count Camembert has lived a pretty isolated life in the capital city of the kingdom of Fromage. But when the beautiful Princess Brie announces a ball to ban faux fur and to further her activism, Cam can’t help but want to meet the stunning princess. What started off as just seeing each other soon turns into something more as Cam is brought into Brie’s group of friends and as they spend more time together and get closer, can Cam keep her secret safe or will she break her heart? This is the cutest book ever, the artwork was stunning, the story was funny and sweet and filled with puns and I just had so much fun with how adorable and funny it was!

Karina is an army brat and her entire life revolves around the army, but the one thing she promises herself is that she’ll never get involved with a soldier. That is until she meets Kael, a mysterious soldier who is about to be discharged. Kael is cold and closed off but Karina has made it her mission to chip away at him. This is a SLOW SLOW burn romance and the book consists of a lot of Karina’s stream of consciousness. I’m going to be real honest, I found Karina to be annoying and just reading about her mindless thoughts and everyday life that is extremely mundane... did not do it for me. Also Kael was just so “mysterious” and “closed off” and honestly it seemed like he was trying too hard. Ultimately this book was not for me but if you enjoy army romances definitely give this one a go!
Clara Savoie is a witch with the ability to read everyone’s emotions... everyone except the one person who she’s completely in love with, the mysterious Grim, Henry Blackwater. Henry and Clara have been dancing around their feelings for each other, Clara has been practically spelling out how she feels about him but he just can’t seem to get the hint and so she comes up with a plan when she discovers he is her number one fan of her book blog... she’ll get him to join her romance book club! Henry is a grim who has been cut off from his magic ever since a traumatic incident when he was young. He can’t stand to be around people or touched except for his select few family members... and a certain blonde witch who has completely captivated him, Clara. Henry was Clara’s from the moment he laid eyes on her, and he’s been in love with her but he doesn’t think she could ever want him or think that he could ever be good enough for her. Yet when she shows up at his doorstep with hand made cupcakes and looking especially delicious herself, he knows he can’t deny her anything and now he finds himself in her romance book club. Clara wants to know everything about Henry and after so long she wants it all. Henry is about to show Clara that being in a relationship with a grim is more than just simply dating, no. she’s the one for him. While they work out their relationship (at last) other issues begin occurring as Henry’s father is arrested for murder and Henry is forced back into the nightmare that he’s been avoiding his entire life and dealing with the darker monster inside of him. Henry will have to embrace his past in order to face the monsters that threaten to destroy everything he holds dear. But with Clara next to him, everything will work out perfectly. This is the last Savoie sister’s book and while I’m so sad to see this fantastic series end, I had an absolute blast getting to meet every single couple. Henry and Clara were so much fun, especially because of how much they clearly love each other and have just been dancing around their feelings. Clara is so blunt and honest with her wants that it was just so refreshing and cute! Henry was a perfect match for Clara and he is such a nurturer. Honestly, I had a blast with this one and can’t wait to see what Juliette Cross writes next!!!
Nine girls who live together in a cult, but when one of them disappears, they’re willing to do anything to find the truth. Nine girls who live together in Havenwood, a cult lead by Joseph. They live separate from the main home and have a “pack” of their own. But when Rose disappears, the remaining eight girls will begin to look closer at those around them and discover how far they are willing to go to find Rose and protect each other. This was definitely an interesting read, with so many different POVs, but an interesting mystery, it’s told in a lyrical kind of format. I think if you enjoy a mystery in this kind of format definitely give it a go.

In the Night Realm, vampires, shifters, weirns, and other night things passing for human prowl the streets... but they still have to go to school! Ailis and Na'ya are pretty average students (NOT losers), but when a shadow starts looming and a classmate gets all weird, they are the first to notice. It gets personal, though, when Na'ya's little brother D'esh disappears-It's time to confront the secrets of the forbidden mansion in the Silent Woods!

A delightful and fun journey with magical creatures and facing evil. I absolutely adored Nightschool: The Weirn Books ( think high school version) and when I found out about this middle grade story set in the same world I was so so excited to read it! The story has all the elements of a great graphic novel! Adventure, friendship, and magic!

This was such a fantastic story that only got better and better with each chapter. Seriously, I was hooked by the end and the romance between Sunnëva and Jökull was AMAZING. The dude just LOVES HER SO MUCH, He was a fantastic love interests and the SPICE, I am just fanning myself from how good it was. This is the first book in a series (they can be read as standalones) but I already know I will be reading the rest of these books cuz THIS ONE WAS AMAZING!!! You get to see Sunnëva grow so much throughout the books and you get to see her journey of healing and opening herself to love, and that was just so so beautiful to read. She goes through so much and she’s a warrior for sure. Gosh, I really can’t even begin to put into words how good this book was, definitely pick it up if you love fantasy romances!!!

She’s an aspiring author who works as a bartender, she’s everything he isn’t suppose to want... and yet the moment billionaire heir Kai Young met Isabella Valencia, he can’t get her out of his head. Kai is in the running to become the CEO of his family’s company, he prides himself in never losing, in being the best at everything, and yet when he finds himself being drawn in by the very bold, impulsive, and beautiful bartender at the private club he has a membership to, he can’t help but come back for more. Isabella is an aspiring writer, trying hard to make it on her own. She’s had a bad relationship that has had her on a man ban for two years now but when she meets the serious and studious Kai, she can’t help but find herself very curious about the guy who translates classics into Latin for fun and somehow always ends up interrupting her at her most embarrassing moments in conversations. The club has a strict no fraternization between employees and members, but neither Kai nor Isabella can stop the thing that is going on between them... yet they come from two completely different worlds and if what is going on between them gets out... it could cost them everything... but is it worth it? Are they willing to risk it all for each other? I had so much fun with this one. I adored Kai and Isabella’s relationship so much, they were adorable and fun as a couple. I loved that we got to see the other couples from the books and universe in this one and I can’t wait to see where the next book goes!
