A charming and sweet story about embracing our mistakes and not being afraid to keep going. This was an amazing story about a young girl struggling with her anxiety and worry about making mistakes and how she overcame them, by making a mistake. It is inspired by a true event in which a dessert was dropped, just like how Lucy drops a lemon tart. The artwork was very cute and I think this would be a great story for kids.

This was an amazing, sexy, and sweet story about a boss lady and an equally amazing guy. Raj is the kind of lady that does not take any shit and has worked hard to get to the top and she won't let anyone undermine her, and I love that in a protagonist. She's had a hard life and was cut off from her family when she was young, and now is facing a divorce against her husband who not only stole her info but betrayed her company and trust. Ajay is a strong yet very sweet romance interest, he is protective of his family and legacy, he was charming and fought hard to get Raj's trust. These two characters complimented each other so well and watching them fall in love with each other while navigating a complicated business partnership was so much fun. The plot was interesting and filled with many sweet and caring moments between these two. I had such a fun time reading this book and would definitely recommend it for romance readers!

Queer Romance and Neurodiversity? What more could you ask for. The story revolves around Nick Bell, a regular dude who is absolutely in love with a superhero, while navigating his ADHD, his best friend Seth mysteriously avoiding him, and a cute evil ex who won't leave him alone. The story has a ton of fun superhero tropes and I really adored Nick's two lesbian friends Jaz and Gibby who were freaking adorable ( I love their relationship so much). Nick and Seth were cute best friends, with Seth harboring a very large one sided crush on a very oblivious Nick. The story has a lot fun tropes and the plot was fine, however, I guess I was expecting a little bit more. Nick was great in the first half of bthe book but by page 347 I just didn't like him as much. The overall story was fine and the romance was cute but I just had higher hopes because I loved a lot of T.J. Klune's previous works. Overall, its a funny and cute romance about two best friends.

This was a mess, a big hot mess. *WARNING: this book includes rape, drug abuse, and prostitution.* So, where to begin. This story revolves around two twins who come together after years apart, and the main thing is that one twin wants the life of the other twin. Now my biggest issue were the characters, lets start with Susan, she is manipulative, obsessive, and unhinged, then we have Sarah, who has suffered a ton of shit and is just trying to cope, and last but not least Jonny, the man that comes between the two girls. To say Jonny was my least favorite character would be putting it lightly, this dude is 18 when he starts having sex with Susan( a 13 year old). Throughout the present ( as the story switches back and forth between present and past) he constantly belittles his wife's needs, forces her to do things she clearly doesn't want to do, and he is the most passive person I've ever read about who is constantly using his " I'm not taking sides, I'm a nice guy" act and I do not see the appeal of him. Seriously ladies, this dude is the most lukewarm person on earth, he barely supports his wife and her mental trauma and honestly I would have left him. I clearly don't understand how or why either Sarah or Susan would obsess over this man. He irritated me beyond belief, I just wanted Sarah and Susan to move on from this guy. And to top it off the very last minute twist on his character? Just confirms how much of a garbage dude he is. Seriously 19 years younger?! Gross. He is just GROSS. Now onto the plot between Susan and Sarah, the book switches narratives between the two and you are constantly thrown between both girls claiming to be one girl or the other and its kinda confusing but in the end it sorts itself out. Sarah was the real gem out of everyone in this book. She suffers horrific things but still tries her best to get her life together and do whats right. She literally saves Susan and she suffers so much for Susan. Honestly this book left me feeling, not good. The plot twists were fine and it wraps up fine, but honestly it is not a feel good book.

This was a delightful and beautiful collection of short stories about daring girls and fairytales. These stories were all short but wonderfully told and captures the true essence of the lovely girls and their courage in each story. Filled with magic, courage, and stunning artwork, this was such a great collection of stories. I would highly recommend this for all kids and everyone of all ages. I found this collection to be absolutely stunning and so diverse in it's collection of stories.

A Christmas Hallmark themed romance story? HELL YEAH. I can’t begin to explain just how excited I was to read this book after reading the premise. I am a huge sucker for Hallmark Christmas movies, and this sounded right up my alley ( in fact one of my favorite hallmark movies is called A Princess for Christmas starring Katie McGrath and Sam Heughan)! The story is about a guy named Leo who one day picks up princess Marie due to his sister’s insistence, and thus begins their adventure into a holiday romance. Leo and Marie both have great chemistry and I enjoyed reading from both of their perspectives, especially as they’re assumptions of each other changed and they began to fall in love. Throw in an adorable sister, an impending royal marriage, a distant father, and many christmas shenanigans, and what we have is some royal christmas fun! Marie was a charming and strong protagonist who is struggling with her royal duties and the anniversary of the death of her mother. Leo is a gallant but a bit gruff love interest, who, after digging a bit has the softest heart and is so sweet and gentle with his sister. Leo is struggling to make sure his little sister has the best childhood while also trying to make ends meet and dealing with the grief of his parents deaths and a sudden new princess dropped into his lap that offers him a payday of a lifetime to just drive her around, all the while he finds himself falling for her. The characters are enjoyable and complex, both dealing with lots of heavy and tragic aspects in their lives, while slowly opening up to one another, but faced with the giant obstacle that is not only status but if either of them is ready to fully fall in love. I absolutely enjoyed this holiday read and definitely got the Hallmark Christmas movie warmth from this story. I loved the way it wrapped up and honestly would definitely recommend this for anyone looking for a sweet holiday romance!

Absolutely phenomenal! I had such a wonderful time reading this original take on the Alice in Wonderland story! The story picks up at the moment when Alice is 18 years old and trying hard to remember Wonderland, when she suddenly starts developing some of her photos of people in her life only to see people from Wonderland in the photos asking for Alice to come help them. Throughout the story Alice is struggling to remember how Wonderland once was and who she was in it and adjusting to her life in reality. The citizens of Wonderland are under attack from the Queen of Hearts who is just straight up murdering and imprisoning people all to bring about the END of Wonderland, Alice is trying to find her place in Wonderland and in Angleland (Her Reality world) all the while we get to interact with some of our favorite characters such as Cheshire (wink wink), Hatter, Dodo, and so on. There is adventure, madness, and above all a round house of a splendid time. I absolutely loved this story and take on Alice so much. It was fresh and fun, with a splash of morbidity and romance!

This was an interesting read, as it was a retelling of the Grimm's fairytale of The Seven Ravens told through verse. I did not expect it to be in verse but did not mind it as much as I do enjoy poetry. There was also beautiful artwork in the story that was such a nice touch. I rather enjoyed this story and liked the way the various perspectives of characters played into it. It was a very simple read and I would even recommend it for younger readers as it was short and easy to digest. I wish there was a bit more or something, but all in all it was an okay read.
