A absolutely adorable and sweet story about a girl named Frankie who has just moved into a new town and started a new school. Franke loves to explore and take field notes! Sadly the kids at school think shes scary and creepy but she goes on an adventure that changes her perspective. This is a great story for kids who feel like they're different and don't fit in, its about accepting all of yourself and finding the greatness in your quirks. I thought the addition of how to make a field guild/ start one was a great touch and activity for kids! The artwork is so cute and I had so much fun reading this!

I really enjoyed this story! I loved the characters, the magical world, and all the adventure. Truly such a fun story and I can't wait to read the next book. The writing style was lush and just perfect for the story telling.

This was such a fun book to read. I absolutely enjoyed it and the incorporation of magical beings into modern day. The characters were both complex and likable, and I just empathized with both of them. The moral dilemmas that the protagonist faced were hard but I honestly felt like she tried her best with what she was faced with. The plot was interesting and I liked the narration switching between both of the characters. I loved all the side characters and their strong friendship and kindness. The romance is very sweet and endearing in the story. The story is left with a bit of a cliffhanger and I can't wait to read the next book!

This was a wonderful followup to Wicked Fox. The story picks up right after the events of the first book but focuses more on the perspectives of Junu and Somin. The stakes are still high and the danger is ever present and mounting as the clock ticks down for our characters. With new spirits, evil exes, and new romances, this book was a full ride and I had so much fun. I loved how both Junu and Somin were complex characters dealing with a ton of their own baggage while seemingly getting under each other's skin and the tension between them is palpable. Junu is being wrecked by guilt from the previous consequences of the first book all the while a new threat from his past comes barreling in and threatens to take away the people he has started to let into his life. Somin is trying to hold the fort down for all her friends yet is not dealing with any of her own actual pain, and yet she finds herself constantly orbiting back to Junu. The action in this book is amazing and I really enjoyed the plot. The characters were great and honestly, if you loved the first book you are definitely going to love this book. I liked seeing how the characters redeemed themselves and fought for each other. The romance is absolutely wonderful, it starts from frenemies and leads into two people who can't help but care and love each other. The story wraps up nicely and I wouldn't mind reading more stories set in this universe.

This was a great read! I had so much fun reading this story and all it's twist and turns. The story revolves around Magdalena, who is moved in with her grandparents after a huge scandal in her New York school and her parents divorce. Still reeling from everything that has happened Magda is trying her best to get by day by day in her new home. Things start to look up when a mysterious boy named Bo literally lands on her. But just as things are looking up dead bodies start to turn up and Magda starts to question everyone around her, even herself. The story deals with mental illness, physical and emotional abuse, drug abuse, self harm, discussions of racism, and eating disorders. The way the story unfolds itself is interesting as Magda isn't a reliable narrator and we learn more and more about what has happened to her in the past that affects the present through small glimpses as the story goes on. The mystery was a unique one and I really liked the way it played out. The romance between Bo and Magda was very sweet and I liked how much they cared and took care of each other. Overall, I had a lot of fun reading this book and would definitely recommend it!

A delightful and charming book about an albino alligator, based on a real albino alligator! Claude is an albino alligator who just doesn't seem to fit in, and so the story follows his journey to a new home, and hopefully to make some new friends. The plot was very sweet and from reading this I hope to visit Claude one day too! The artwork was absolutely adorable and so pretty! There are real life facts and information about Claude and albino alligators in the back of the book too!

A very cute story about a guy who gets a new dog who is scruffy, just like him. This was a sweet story about getting a dog who just suites you. I had a lot of fun reading this and I think it would make a fun read for kids too! The artwork was charming and the story was simple and short! Perfect for kids!

A swoon worthy romance read! I really loved reading this book and had so much fun with the plot. The story revolves around Declan Shaw, a mercenary turned body guard out of prison, and Lady Helena Lark, trying desperately to get out of an arranged marriage her parents set up. The chemistry between the two characters was amazing and I loved how fierce and determined Helena was in her goals to just be free and live her apple farmer life. Helena has tried everything for the past five years, including running away, and pretending to be mad in order to get out of her arranged marriage and nothing seems to be working. Her final option is to find another potential duchess to convince the Duke to fall in love with in order to free herself from him. Declan is hired as the personal groom to Helena, all the while he is supposed to make sure she makes it down the aisle with the Duke. If he fails, he will be sent back to prison and lose the payday that will help his family, the only problem? Helena is more than he could have ever imagined and she’s completely captivated him. I loved the story and I loved the characters, I highly recommend this book for all romance lovers! It’s fun, sweet, and just down right romantic as heck!

A Taming of The Shrew Retelling? SIGN ME UP! The premise of the book alone enticed me and oh boy did I have such a fun time reading this! Our said “shrew” is Cassandra, who gets into an accident with her childhood crush turned biggest disappointment , aka said “tamer” Duke of Ashmont, Lucius. Lucius, fresh from being stood up at the aisle and having his best friend steal said fiance gets super drunk and causes a huge accident and is determined to make it up to the fiery lady. I absolutely loved Cassandra, she was hilarious and her take no BS attitude was great. She is not one to back down from a fight and will physically fight you, which I do say, I admire in a lady. But beneath the tough exterior, she is also caring and considerate, and honestly, even I fell for her. Ashmont on the other had, well, I really did not like him at first, BUT, he did grow on me, and by the end I can say that I really liked him. He’s funny, caring, and is willing to take responsibility and try and grow from his mistakes. The story was an absolute riot, and I found myself smiling and laughing throughout the entire time. I loved the fun banter between Cassandra and Ashmont, and getting to read between their alternating POVs was a nice touch! The story wraps up nicely and I can say as a lover of Taming of the Shrew and 10 Things I Hate About You, this hit the spot for me! I would definitely recommend it for all romance readers out there!

This was an absolutely swoon worthy read! The romance was great and the characters were amazing. The story follows a bookish Lady Beatrice, who just wants to be left alone to her books, and a roguish navy man/ builder Stamford Wright. Beatrice has recently inherited a bookstore that needs some real repair and so she hairs Stamford, even though every time they’re in a room together the sexual tension is crazy and she can barely think straight. Beatrice is a very strong and courageous character, she tries her best even though she hasn’t had the best time in society, and works hard to achieve her freedom. Her love for books and words was charming. Stamford was a wonderful love interest for Beatrice. He was caring, he saw her and didn’t want to change her, he accepted her and always encouraged her. I absolutely loved this book and had so much fun reading it! I think any romance reader would really enjoy this! The romance was great, the story wraps up nicely, and I honestly’ can’t wait to read more of this authors work!
