Yesssss, finally

Ashanti has been resurrected! I knew it's been hinted at for several books now, and I'm glad we get to see this character who has had such a huge impact on Patrick.

I wish we knew Wade as more than just a hungry pickpocket - he is getting to be a caricature instead of a character.

These characters were 2 dimensional in a way that I didn't vibe with. Nothing to keep my attention.

Enjoyable, but lacking in the full scope of character development. Things fall together too neatly, which can be a positive for when you absolutely cannot handle tension.

I really liked most aspects of this story but I cannot handled the emotionally-dense/oblivious female lead trope. I refuse to believe that they are so perceptive in every aspect of their life except this giant blind spot.

This was fun and I liked the characters individually, but the romance between Julian and Casimir never really felt true? Casimir is a chaos creature who doesn't seem to understand humans, despite having been one at some point.

I thought for sure this book was going to end with Cade finding out who Miles was since it's been hanging over the book the whole time. The betrayal he feels is going to be so much worse now.

I can't even rate this. The cannibalism/ABO bonding scene was giving body of Christ vibes.
