Definitely the book I've liked the least of Martha Hall Kelly's. Parts of the plot just didn't make sense or weren't fleshed out enough. Like how did Dr. Snow get the bronze dove? How did she find out about the murder of Arlette's aunt? It just didn't make sense.

There were so many threads that were dropped in this book - like adoption - that I as an adult wanted more. I applaud the inclusivity of all different races, abilities, and weights as well as the inclusivity of women who work blue collar, white collar, ag jobs, strippers, etc. I just wanted those threads wrapped up!
