Another entertaining and funny installment in this series. It was great to catch up with the characters and I liked how the author was able to include COVID in the plot.
The mystery is solid and kept me guessing.
Can't wait to read the next installment.

This was the perfect book for someone who didn't know anything about needle felting, like me.
It's a very useful and informative book because it starts from the beginning and guide you through tools, materials, techniques and all you need to know.
The project are richly illustrated and easy to follow.

Twisty, dark, disturbing, gripping: I can go on with a long list of adjectives. To cut it short: I loved this dark story with a strong gothic vibe and some very disturbing and heartbreaking moments.
The author did an excellent job in developing a gripping plot, great characters that you love or hate, and a claustrophobic environment.
I loved it and it's strongly recommended.

The language and the style of writing are fabulous, the author can surely play with words.
The book is heartbreaking and riveting, the travel in the mind of a woman suffering from dementia.
There's plenty of poetic images, memories.
It's sad and it's fascinating, I loved it.

Before reading this book I knew who Lou Sullivan was and not a lot more. This was an interesting read, full of food for thought and poignant.
I appreciated this book as it helped to understand a lot more about gender and identity.

We are the Brennans is the story of a highly dysfunctional family, family friends included, but it's also the story of people who love each other but are unable to communicate and hide tons of secrets.
You can start with Sunday, the daughter who ran away and came back after a car accident, or Denny, the brother who is risking everything but he's unable to communicate with the people he loves.
It's the parents who had their share of secrets and were not always perfect.
It could be a family drama but it's more the story of how a family risked everything and found a way to change.
The characters are quite realistic, some are so realistic that I found myself thinking "This reminds me of X". The emotions, the relationships are realistic: we don't have over the top drama or stiff upper lip, we read about grief, betrayal, dreams and they're pictured as most of us experienced them.
The storytelling is excellent as kept me reading and turning pages. I loved this family and loved the fleshed out characters.
It is a riveting and compelling read, the kind of book that remains with you.

I'm not vegan but I'm diabetic and always looking for new ways to keep my diet varied and healthy.
This is an excellent cookbook as it also lists the nutritional values of each recipes and the first part is a good guide to keep your diet healthy.
The recipes are easy to follow and yummi.

This is my favorite series and I thoroughly enjoyed as I was very happy to catch up with Ruth, Nelson, and the cast of characters.
It's not my favorite because I found it a bit too slow and the mystery took the backseat to the lockdown.
The lockdown descriptions were well done and brought back memories. I was moved, cried a bit but I missed the investigation part.
I don't think it would be the right book to start the series even if there's a lot of backstory.

It’s a good book, fast paced and entertaining. There’s a lot of action and a lot of humour.
The action starts since the first pages and we get to know the characters or meet again if you read the first book in this series.
I liked it and I had a lot of fun. I didn’t feel confused even if I didn’t read the first book in this series and I liked how the characters were developed and the storytelling.
I will surely read the rest of the series as I enjoyed this story and want to read more featuring these characters.
A compelling, gripping, and entertaining story that I recommend.
