Better than the first
These books are so short! I really wish they were longer. Still, this one I thought was better than the first. I loved the friendship developing between Adara and Thalia, and seeing the other friendships she develops and how much she values them since she was never close to anyone growing up. And the relationship with Evran is just beautiful. The worldbuilding, again, is intriguing and I'm looking forward to learning more in the third book.

Very spicey
I'm pretty sure this book has as much spice as the first two combined. So. Much. Spice. Too much, actually. We could have had a lot more plot and a lot less spice and it would have been that much better.
I don't mind spice, I enjoy a book with a good amount of spice, and some books a lot of spice is great - but in a fantasy story like this I feel like we deserve more story and world building.
Don't get me wrong, the actual story was good. But, I think overall, the whole story, across all three books, could have been condensed into two books and we could have done with about half the spice.

So sweet
Loved this. So sweet, so charming. I don't know how I got into cozy beastfolk/monster Romance - but here I am, and I'm not looking back.

Brilliant and fantastic!
Absolutely loved this! It's a breath of fresh air to read a romance that is told from a different POV than I'm used to, with characters who's histories echo my own (being in Canada), and yet are so starkly different than mine (religion, arranged marriage, coming from another country).
However, I can easily say that no matter what walk of life you come from, you can still enjoy this story! The grumpy x sunshine trope was well used here, and watching love develop between two people is something can transcend cultural barriers.
I found myself smiling and giggling and crying between all the heartfelt emotions, and how well Azeer and Alina fit together, even at the beginning when they're determined not to like each other at all. It was wonderful to see them both grow and change over the course of the book, and how that reflected on their lives beyond their relationship. Also, Zoha? Adorable!
Looking forward to reading more in this series - especially after that ending!

Sweet & spicy
A fun read, just enough drama to keep pulling you along as the main trios relationship grows. I really loved how different the men were, not just the physical aspects, but their personalities as well. The side-story about the Gems felt a little like it was added in as an afterthought, but didn't detract from the main story. If you've read anything else from Clio, you'll enjoy this one just as much!

So much emotion
Wow! The way Amanda Richardson writes is just exquisite. Everything, from the characters emotions to the sex, beautifully described, pulling me right into the book. Loved every moment!
