Very spicey

I'm pretty sure this book has as much spice as the first two combined. So. Much. Spice. Too much, actually. We could have had a lot more plot and a lot less spice and it would have been that much better.
I don't mind spice, I enjoy a book with a good amount of spice, and some books a lot of spice is great - but in a fantasy story like this I feel like we deserve more story and world building.
Don't get me wrong, the actual story was good. But, I think overall, the whole story, across all three books, could have been condensed into two books and we could have done with about half the spice.
