Oh Mahir... *cry*
I love that you're visiting Australia and I love that you're walking us through this amazing country that took it's Uprising without hardly batting an eye. I love that the Australians are insistent upon living with their wildlife instead of killing off anything capable of amplification and I just adore the fact that they passed legislation making it legal (for the guards) to shoot people that are potentially trying to hurt endangered wildlife. However, I don't love that you still haven't been in contact with Shaun and George and I despise the fact that you are obviously still hurting while they're away.

To Mira Grant:
Thank you for this trip back into your post-Uprising world and thank you for allowing Mahir to be our guide. He's the best, truly. On the other hand, I really am interested in how Shaun and George are doing. Can Mahir visit and let us know? Or maybe they can visit Mahir?! Please!

There are truly no words that can convey the awesomeness that is this book and trilogy! All I can say is that when the box set is released, it will have a happy home on my shelves instead of just in my nook. =^_^= I could not put this conclusion down!

This very short story about a friend groups interesting game night is delightful. I think about this story often now that we've entered Covid times, actually. My friends and I like to do game nights and I think this would have been the type of game we could have gotten into back in the day. But now Covid is a thing and I'm not so sure...

If things had ended a little differently in book one, George would have been left alive. And I think we all know how that would turn out. And if you didn't, reading this will show you.

This was a surprise book. I didn't realize another had been written in the series and it's from the point of view of a whole different set of people, mirroring the first book but with the other party's campaign coverage. It's so good!! I absolutely loved it and the main characters were just perfection!

I feel as though this book covered a lot of stuff that doesn't really relate to the topic at hand. But then again, I also feel as though I didn't understand much of it and I can't tell if that's because I was bored, it was poorly written, or something else.

This was such an adorable book. I love dragons, so I was hoping for lots of them - and we got some, but more in the "we're going to find them" way than "oh look, dragons everywhere" way - which is fine, but I was definitely more in the mood for the "dragons everywhere" way. Haha!

Regardless, I enjoyed the book. I quite liked the twist, even if it was predictable. And I love love loved the goats! I imagine the target age group is losing their minds over this book!

Holy fucking shit.

Okay. I can't into this book wanting to at least like it even though I knew exactly two things about the book - there was a polyam love triangle and Power Ranger style machines. (I never actually paid attention to Power Rangers when my brothers watched it, maybe I'm wrong about how they worked, but that's what I pictured.)

I didn't expect that I would be so unable to put this book down that I would get the audiobook so that I could continue reading it even when driving. Haha! I mean, I could have used my text-to-speech function, but I wanted proper narration for this book if I didn't have eyes on the screen.

I appreciated the content warning at the beginning of the book. And the snarky "if you want accurate history, read nonfiction" bit included in the disclaimer.

This was such a cute story! I love these sorts adventures!!

This was a great follow up to the first book. And oh my Nokley that ending... I hope there are more to come!
