Holy fucking shit.

Okay. I can't into this book wanting to at least like it even though I knew exactly two things about the book - there was a polyam love triangle and Power Ranger style machines. (I never actually paid attention to Power Rangers when my brothers watched it, maybe I'm wrong about how they worked, but that's what I pictured.)

I didn't expect that I would be so unable to put this book down that I would get the audiobook so that I could continue reading it even when driving. Haha! I mean, I could have used my text-to-speech function, but I wanted proper narration for this book if I didn't have eyes on the screen.

I appreciated the content warning at the beginning of the book. And the snarky "if you want accurate history, read nonfiction" bit included in the disclaimer.
