So much fun! I don't usually love spy narratives but the whole secret life trope where everyone in the family is hiding a massive secret from the other "Superman/Clark Kent" style is so funny to read about that I know I'll 100% be continuing this series and starting the anime whenever I can!

The last time I read this I gave it 3 stars. Insanity. I absolutely adored every second of this and I really think I could spend entire days just staring at the artwork. 10/10 perfect impeccable no notes. Please tell me Kay O'Neill has some other graphic novel in the works, I'm begging 🙏.

Just because something comes easily to you, does not mean it has no value. You find it effortless because you love it, and that is why it is your gift.
As always, really cute artwork and really cute characters! I also really appreciated the note at the start about how the sign language is shown in the graphic novel, as well as how it's shown when people talk out loud at the same time.

I zoned out of this one a lot more and I definitely wasn't enjoying this for the first half, but the second half was interesting enough that I'll continue the series.

For the first 60 pages, I was mainly just really confused but around the 80-page mark I finally started to enjoy the story and I was finally used to the writing.
If you can get used to the writing and are okay with A LOT of names and slower writing then this is the book is for you.
ALSO I LOVE A MAN THAT RESPECTS WOMEN AND JUST... SO MUCH RESPECT YOU GUYS.
Also, I don't think I've ever read a book in which a man actually cooks, so this was a wonderful change!
