Wow. This was a whole lot of nothing. If you want to read about a bunch of people going about their days and doing nothing this is perfect for you but if you want something, literally anything, to happen in the book you're reading you really shouldn't pick this up. Book 1 was really great, book 2 was interesting and book 3 was boring. I recommend just reading book 1 as a standalone or maybe just leaving it as a duology.

This one really pulled on my heartstrings but I definitely didn't enjoy it as much as I did book 1. That being said, book3 will probably be my next read!

This book is awesome. This is more character-based than plot-heavy and also has super long chapters (upwards of 30 pages) and it's so so worth it. It's 3asy to confuse characters but they're all so interesting that it didn't really bother me all that much.

This was pretty fun, I really enjoyed the Polar Bear.

This was so meh and I feel so bad about it because I’ve loved the previous TJR books that I’ve read. I did enjoy what this book was trying to, and I think it will be great for a lot of other people, just not for me. I think so many others will be able to relate to this but I just can’t. I felt disconnected from the characters and the plot the entire time because I just didn’t care, which ultimately just made me feel worse.
I think so many people will love and appreciate this book but personally, I preferred Alice Hoffman’s depiction of grief in Faithful, it’s more my brand than this was.
I will definitely be picking up more of TJR’s books in the future though because I do really like her writing.

(also this is such a nitpick but the mc is constantly talking shit about ya and it pissed me off so I thought I'd mention it.)

I was not about this. At all. I didn't click with most of the characters but I did enjoy the idea of the novel.

This started out with promise but pretty quickly declined. I do think younger kids will enjoy reading this around Christmas, especially with the addition of the dinosaur. But, I really wasn't a big fan of the writing or the massive lack of plot.

(Also, Santa was kinda rude and that really took me out of the story)

This book was definitely a lot better than her first two books but, damn I think I would just rather watch Sliding doors next time??? The beginning was a bit slow and the ending was a bit subpar but if you need a quick romance read for a readathon this would be a great pick!

Eh. I really enjoyed the writing but honestly, this went from 0 - 100 in a couple of sentences and I was not about it, I honestly thought my audiobook had skipped or something. This is great for a quick read, but I definitely think this story would transfer better to screen.
