This was... not good. I genuinely wish I'd enjoyed this more than I did but as much as I liked Kate, I couldn't stand any of the other characters and I found the plot completely uninteresting. I really enjoyed books 1 and 2 so I'll be continuing the series, I really really hope this one was a fluke.

I genuinely don't know what to say right now. I've never read anything by this author before so I had zero expectations going into this but I ended up loving it! I loved getting to know Christina and exploring her personality & trauma. I also loved Oliver, he was such a cinnamon roll character and I really appreciated how his deafness was written into the story with the other character learning sign to communicate with him, rather than making him work to communicate with them. This was such a fun read and I can't wait to read more from Joanna Shupe!

I loved this volume and it's totally revitalised my love for this series, coincidentally, it was also one of the saddest volumes in the series. I absolutely CAN'T WAIT to read volume 6.

A really interesting beginning and an action-packed and intriguing ending, but this really lagged in the middle! I found this world really interesting and I'll definitely be reading book 2 soon but I find the characters so uninteresting!

This was my favourite of Agatha Christie's novels so far, and it took me a while to figure out why but I think I've worked it out. This was probably the only one of her mysteries that I've actually been able to follow and understand from beginning to end, to the point where I actually figured out who the murderer was. I love being able to follow a mystery, but most of her novels rely on the big reveal at the end without you really knowing anything but the base facts and I find it infuriating. I'll definitely read more from this series, I just hope there are more books like this.

An interesting story with an art style that I LOVE (as well as great colouring!) But there was something missing and I genuinely don't know what. I feel like this would do really well as an animated episode or a short film but something about this just wasn't grabbing my attention!

I wish I could say that I loved this because I really wanted to but honestly it just wasn't for me. I'm not much into second chance romances, even cute ones like this. I think this would've benefitted from being slightly longer or even being a 2 volume series because it didn't feel fleshed out at all and it felt like it went from 0 - 100 in just a few pages and it did this multiple times. I loved the idea but not the execution.
