This was so heartwarming 😭 I loved the whole plot and pictured Matthew Goode from Leap Year the wholeeeeee time for Kieran... which was *chef's kiss*

All of the banter was top notch - and I so so enjoyed that Irish slang was used through the whole book.

The first part of the sex scene felt like it was written by ChatGPT it was so cringy - but then it got better. I also wished some of the side characters were flushed out more, they were all so amazing!

We love a brothers best friend trope 😎

Star lost because her brother was an ass with too much say in her life - like fight, talk and get over yourself. Andddd I HATE "5 months later" scenarios where they grow apart and blah blah blah cause it all could have been avoided with a conversation like you're all adults?!

*Be warned* You will want to quit your job and go on a long cross country road trip after reading.

Cute quick read! Wish there was more sharing as a RH... but still good.

I had to tell my brain they weren't brothers the whole time, and then once
married all I could do was think YOU'RE THE SISTER-IN-LAW via a triangle AND they have a niece/nephew
- maybe and I hated it lol

Cuuuuute - which is saying something cause I don't love bugs lol

The miscommunication/lack of communication dropped it 0.5 stars for me, but I really enjoyed everything else!

Let me start off by saying this was the Elaine, Tamlin, Azriel/Lucien fanfiction I did not ask for.

I struggled so much to finish this book - I didn't hate it in the end but damn I was annoyed while reading it for like 90% of the time.

Every person I saw recommend this said enemies to lovers where they try and kill each other a lot. Categorically untrue lol they each get one attempt in before the insta-lust kicks in.

It's also a love triangle - WHICH IS MY LEAST FAVORITE TROPE EVER. It may be my bad for not doing more research, but as soon as Vane is introduced I looked at all the reviews to see who was gonna be the main dude cause my brain can't take it.

This book also needed quite a bit more editing, the "sentence time travels" drove me crazy. Like when you're reading and accidently end up skimming and all of the sudden the characters are in a different location or doing something wildly different than they were a second ago - so you think.. oh I must have missed something! In most cases the transition is there and I just missed it - but in this instance it just wasn't there. I felt like constant whip-flash.

Vane's character confused me the whole time, and he never got a redemption - but it was written as if he was forgiven without any conversation. Like he was supposed to be in love with Morana the whole time, but then how could he have been sincere? This is why I hate love triangles.

Also did Daylia ever know about the murder or Mildred's parents? Cause how she was written I think the fuck not! Does every character in this book have multiple personality disorder? It just doesn't make any sense lol

Honestly the plot could have been really good - I like the dragon thing shifter aspect a lot. But it was so rushed - and obliviously I did not have a good time.

THIS WAS SO CUTE!

I fear I forgot a lot of Rue and Eli's story - but it was still amazing all the same. Loved the Deep End cameo!

The banter was top notch, the old jokes were impeccable, and I absolutely loved the fact they they were so clearly each others person.

10 ⭐ No notes - this is by far my favorite CLo book to date!

Liam and Anna we're perfect - and I love everything about them. CLo writing actual smut had me squealing AT WORK, I hope they never write fade to black again because DAYUM they are good at it.

Anna's quirky and oversharing was my favorite part of this story, I loved how unapologetically her she was all the time. I feel like it makes me want to reread it immediately.

Also the family resolution at the end 🥹 that epilogue almost had me crying continuous happy tears

YAYYYY THEY FINALLY GOT TOGETHER. 0.5 star deduction cause I'm dirty and want the details.

Once again - this was a slightly more intense criminal minds episode with magic and more fucking.

I'm so beyond disappointed by this book - what the hell. It felt like whatever planning/writing style/plot types Hannah used in books 1 and 2 she threw out the window and gave us this.

Our FMC and MMC (*sighs disappointedly* Henry) weren't bad - obviously I love Henry and was so excited for his book - I love how Henry and Halle understand one another like no one else. I loved watching Halle come into her own and be surrounded by good friends and confronting her family (although the family thing felt rushed).

Disappointments (mostly smut complaints lol):
- WHY WERE THE SEX SCENES SO BAD! After books 1 and 2 we KNOW where the bar is, and damn did this fall so flat.
- We have a "Oh you like being told what to do" AND THEN NOTHING - no telling her what to do in the bedroom. Boooo
- That paint scene could have been so hot - but we get some nice build up and then wham bam thank you ma'am it's done.
- We hear about all the sex their having and GET NO DETIALS
- I hate that she's a virgin - but I get it - it's just not my cup of tea
- I'm so upset Henry's friends let him get away with the bullshit of him berating himself for so long.
- Sad/mad at Henry and Anastasia's storyline and that they struggle. Not only because we already love both characters and I would want to know more about how Anastasia was doing
- He just kinda ghosts her for weeks?! Nah fam - I hate that.
- She reads romance books and we don't get any "I'll reenact something from your book" - rude
- We see Will more than anyone want's, but never get a resolution there. He's just unconfronted and a giant douche out there in the ether. I hate it
- I feel like we're reusing Henry having to explain what shitty things a dude said about a woman in Henry's life and it felt redundant.

Please give me a JJ novella with him and his husband to make up for this.

Ahhhhh this was AMAZING!

How was this better than Icebreaker? I have no idea - but it was!

Aurora is my spirit animal and I love her so much - she is a feral unhinged gremlin and I enjoyed every moment with her and Russ.

And Russ... my sweet little scared boy - he's perfect.
