If I hear the magic words I come running. And in this case the two words are “urban fantasy” because I’m most definitely a sucker for it. I really enjoyed the nostalgia these two gave me for early 2000s fantasy vibes or at least that’s what I was picking up. I enjoyed the main characters and thought they were very easy to connect and root for. I loved seeing them come into their powers and set out on adventure. Not to mention the gorgeous styled murder mystery and our slow burn romance!
It eventually leads to a big theme being; do they tell the truth? About their powers? What are the consequences of that? Which is nice to be included considering the ages of the MCs. I really loved the family aspect from the second book and how everything from the first was coming to a head. Plus his grandma cracks me up I thought she was great. There’s new problems, new adventures, and many more to come with book three! This is definitely a must read. Keep in mind this series is YA so far!

This was a beautiful tale. I absolutely loved the historical aspect of it and the entire tone was beautifully woven in through the story with our main girl Agatha! Fantasy is always my favorite and I really enjoy the mysteriousness I felt while reading this as well. I absolutely CAN NOT WAIT for more books by our author and see more of her writing!

This was intensity at its FINEST. This isn’t something I usually go for but I think it was a great change of pace. This was full of chaotic love and dark emotional angst. It was a roller coaster and I’m honestly here for it. She writes this so well it’s easy to get lost in the moment with your characters. Plus I’m always a sucker for the friends to lovers trope, I mean… come on. All in all this is a very particular book that isn’t for everyone but if you’re feeling adventurous you should definitely check it out!

This was the perfect sweet and spicy mix of romance that fits in during this time of the year! This didn’t disappoint and the author continues to give us such a unique story that catches you on the turns. You should most definitely go grab this on Amazon and see for yourself! Plus it was such a great continuation from Rosie’s Rules and answered all the questions I still had super well with a little Christmas bow! I really loved the chemistry with Rosie and Nathan as well. And Dual POV!!
A unique yet compelling retelling of Persephone and Hades. A duo everyone loves to read and it never disappoints. Keeping in mind that this book is entirely YA and does not venture at any point from that, I thought it was interesting! But don’t let that fool you because the first half of the book is most definitely the dark-esq romance you require. I think the authors writing is so smoothly done and had me rooting for our girl Corey the entire time. I wanted to see her succeed. Also I feel it has a surprising way of helping the reader come to the same mindset as the MC as well. Definitely try this one out!!
