Amidst the brewing Ellen controversy, I can acknowledge that my role model gay idol may not be a figure I'd fashion my identity around but... This book still made me laugh and I can't change my car's God Given name

Perfect for aimlessly wandering hot DC streets to return unread library books

Not sure why but this Henry didn't really do it for me. perhaps I am still too jaded for a roommates to lovers story and exceptionally disenchanted with exes getting married.

Perfect for a lonely train ride home from Union Station

Silly mind-warping tale that truly makes you question when to call it quits and when to keep digging deeper. If all else fails, consult the dog

Perfect for a short read in the book stacks of your friend's favorite Maryland school

sharing is caring, especially when you're sharing with the ones you love.

perfect read for a tucked away corner in the University of Maryland library

i love jon klassen's cute, creepy, twee work. a perfect little story for the littles who loved paper bag princess and scary stories to tell at night

very sweet book for those who may not like to read. keeping this as humanly short as possible as not to interfere with future cake and youtube endeavors

GIRL PLEASE. i give more than half stars because it was readable and entertaining and made me gasp multiple times throughout but this is No evelyn, not even Daisy. metaphors and parallels were overhanded with a fair share of *sex is bad in straight relationships but maybe not that bad* talk. i'm tiredddddddddd. i did thoroughly enjoy the interpersonal dynamics between the family itself, including the vibrant sisterhood bond, snarky grandmother connections, sweet but sour little brother. the way this cast of characters coalesced was beautiful but did we need to throw a boring white man named ryan in the middle of it? and a dogers fan at That????

the answer is no.

perfect to read in bed on a rainy day and then text your sister 17 times as soon as you finish the last page because
why the fuck are they reading each others emails that is a total violation of privacy!

another perfectly fine romance except this time with a little too much of a fascination with keanu reeves. for some reason, i didn't expect this book to be so *literal* in it's interpretation, but i got what i signed up for.

perfect for speed reading in the back of a noisy georgetown coffee shop while discovering what some people think horchata tastes like

gorgeous and harrowing through and through. i loved the manner in which the art enhanced the story and vice versa, though i feel i haven't engaged in enough graphic novels to truly comment. for this being only the first half of the tale, i'm terrified for what will follow. this was an introduction to this time period that i had never before delved into and i'm so happy this story in this medium exists.

perfect to read in dc prepping for the holocaust museum but also trying to remain afloat on chocolate croissants and cardamom lattes

please believe the intro note from the author for i didn’t and whew reader this was of a different caliber. forget cute rom com science babe this was full on palpitations on the bus ride home from work. i applaud the courage both ali and i had to voyage through such a work.

perfect for binge reading and then crying in your bathroom about for 2 hours
