GIRL PLEASE. i give more than half stars because it was readable and entertaining and made me gasp multiple times throughout but this is No evelyn, not even Daisy. metaphors and parallels were overhanded with a fair share of *sex is bad in straight relationships but maybe not that bad* talk. i'm tiredddddddddd. i did thoroughly enjoy the interpersonal dynamics between the family itself, including the vibrant sisterhood bond, snarky grandmother connections, sweet but sour little brother. the way this cast of characters coalesced was beautiful but did we need to throw a boring white man named ryan in the middle of it? and a dogers fan at That????
