So. This was <i>fine</i>. I didn't love it, but I also liked it enough that I will read the next book that comes out.

Garrett (36) is one of the owners of Salacious and has had a hard time connecting with anyone- physically and emotionally. He's a voyeur, and he's fine keeping it that way.

He's always seen Mia (23) as his bratty step sister until one night when he accidentally finds her cam girl livestream and realizes he's <b>really</b> into it. And her. 

They begin an online relationship under the guise of his fake identity while also getting closer in real life. Messy. 


TW: mentions of past suicide attempt, depression, parent with cancer

Kimberly Lemming is the Chaotic Good I didn't know I needed in my life. 

This is 69 pages of pure goofy serotonin. 

Ruby is a blacksmith's daughter, sent to apologize to the fox demon that cursed her father with sentient weaponry (for stealing from his mine). 

The fox demon, Lucca, makes her a deal. Spend the week pretending to be his mate in front of the other demons at the Winter Festival, and he'll end the curse (and give the blacksmith sole rights to his mine.) Win/Win. 

Also, there is a talking sword named Alexis along for the ride.

Cinnamon, a spunky spice farmer NOT interested in adventures, accidently saves a demon one night as she's drunkenly walking home from a festival. (as the title states). And unfortunately for her, this is where the epic adventure begins.

Fallon-the hot horned demon- freshly-freed from an evil witches influence, enlists Cinnamon on this quest to destroy the undead witch (through threat of death to her family, obviously). 

And along the way she fights monsters, frees demons, and fails miserably at suppressing her attraction to this overly violent demon that wants to marry her when this is all over. There's also some swashbuckling involved. 

Sound ridiculous? Abso-fucking-lutely it is.

This book was pure chaos, from start to finish, and I loved it 😆 A hilarious and cozy fantasy rom com. 

I will definitely be waiting for the next one.

Is this a perfect book? Nah. There are quite a few plot points that just didn't end up going anywhere and some predictable story lines.

But did I have a good time anyways? Absolutely! Lots of great vampire lore and a really fun cast of characters. (And of course some nice 🌶️)

It's got a lot of my favorite tropes:

✔️Enemies to lovers
✔️Hate banging
✔️One horse
✔️Unhinged acts of service (aka murder in the defence of the FMCs honor 😆)
 
Adrian Aleksandr Vasiliev is a top tier morally grey love interest 🤌🏻❤️  

And Isolde is fucking BRUTAL- she'll literally cut you, but only after she's already make you cry with her words.💀 I like that in a lady. 

So yeah, I'll read the next one.

Well that was a rude cliff hanger 😆

I'm somewhere between a 3.5 - 4 ⭐ on this one. The story is enjoyable enough (if not a little predictable). 

But honestly, I'm mostly here for Wrath 🤷🏻‍♀️

What even is this combination of things?!?

I don't know but I liked it. 

I'm actually really interested in the overall storyline happening as well... This left off at a really interesting spot for the next brothers story. Very moody. Much intrigue.

You know I am completely obsessed with this entire dark romance series but THIS book!!! This is my new favorite. 💚 Evie and Nick are 🔥🔥🔥

✔️Mafia adjacent 
Evie is the reclusive and dangerous daughter of an Irish mobster. Her pretty and beloved sister Dorothy is the face while she is the brains. 

✔️The FMC is the villain
I love that Evie gets to be the badass semi psychotic one in the relationship. (But don't get me wrong, Nick is definitely not all sunshine and rainbows and we love that for him.)

✔️Enemies with benefits 
This goes BEYOND the enemies to lovers trope. The sexual tension and encounters with these two while they ACTIVELY hate one another is next level.
