Is this a perfect book? Nah. There are quite a few plot points that just didn't end up going anywhere and some predictable story lines.

But did I have a good time anyways? Absolutely! Lots of great vampire lore and a really fun cast of characters. (And of course some nice 🌶️)

It's got a lot of my favorite tropes:
✔️Marriage contract
✔️Enemies to lovers
✔️Hate banging
✔️One horse
✔️Unhinged acts of service (aka murder in the defence of the FMCs honor 😆)
 
Adrian Aleksandr Vasiliev is a top tier morally grey love interest 🤌🏻❤️  

And Isolde is fucking BRUTAL- she'll literally cut you, but only after she's already make you cry with her words.💀 I like that in a lady. 

So yeah, I'll read the next one.
