Patrick has a way of telling you emotions and heartbreak in this story without actually saying it.

This was a great way to start out the year.

The only thing unnerving about this book is the childishness of the writing. It is meant to be a middle grade/ young adult novel but there is no eloquence to it making it seem childish.

There is no way to explain the roller coaster of emotions that this book makes me feel. Review to come.

I would be a big fat liar if I said I didn't cry though the last 50 pages of this book. It's not because the writing is particularly great, but because I'm a romantic and these characters and this world are so unique and have been stamped on my heart. It's the end of an era and I'm glad I got to share the journey.
