Couldn't hold my interest any longer.

The second part of the novel couldn’t hold my interest 

I couldn’t get into the book, perhaps I needed a more thorough understanding of Peter Pan and the Neverland universe but I was struggling to understand what was happening in the first, fifth of the book. 

I have tried to read this book many times over the years, and it just can't keep my attention. I feel like the main reason I didn't finish it was a mixture of the slow pacing of the writing style, the stakes don't feel high enough, and the inner-workings of the hive hierarchy and world building isn't ever really explained in an accessible way - it's just very confusing and can't hold my interest. 

Couldn’t get into it 

I got one chapter in, didn't feel interested in continuing. 

Incredibly boring.

The stories weren't captivating what-so-ever. They didn't engage me and want me to keep reading.
