Couldn't get into it. 

Planning to read in 2022

It was too lyrical in writing; I didn't know what was happening. 

The writing was awful to keep track, a page would start as single point of view but then have several points of view from secondary characters who weren’t in the scene (a phone call, an email, etc.)

Almost 100 pages in, I wasn’t feeling what was happening. Two many narrators to understand what was occurring - the supernatural / sci-fi stuff was confusing. Not for me 

The narration style, which is a conversation between two characters, was not for me. Quit reading after page 35.

The narration style in the first fifty pages just wasn’t working for me. Expected a thriller and it wasn’t pulling me in to read anymore 

Hated the character and the writing.

I found that the writing was very dense and very hard to follow. There were no chapters and long, winding, paragraphs of description and no real conflict driving the story forward. Very boring. 

I felt that the first 100 pages or so were very exciting, but then I got lost because I felt that the novel changed genres and I no longer cared for the characters or the story.
