J.K. Rowling knows how to have an ending that makes you can't wait for the next book.

You have to remember it was written in the early 1960s and a good portion is still relevant in 2016. There was some chapters that were good, but dated when read today.

Susan Jacoby is the modern day Hofstadter if you want to read someone contemporary.

So good. I also heard Rebecca Traister speak in Seattle about the book.

It is nice to get confirmation on your own life and how you are living is becoming the norm, not an outlier.

With changing times, comes changing of religious preference. Some people change for marriage, some because politically it is better to be one religion than another and other are forced into conversion because they fear for their lives and finally, some do convert because they felt they that they needed to change religions.

Jacoby takes a non-religious view on the history of conversion and notes that mass conversion of people is usually against some political change or event that changes the world. Are all conversion as spiritual as one believes?

Some stories captivating me, others I skimmed.
