I liked it because I don't live in London and don't read The Times, where these writings come from. With that said, you need to know about London Politics and culture to enjoy this - this is when your love of BBC is helpful or your unrealistic crush on Benedict Cumberbatch.
It was good witty and very Caitlin Moran. I think we would be lovely friends, who would go out, have pints and she would make me do things that I would regret.
Unfortunately, I order my copy from London and the US won't come out till November 2016 - so you will have to wait or find your own copy elsewhere in the world.

Written in Italian (on the left page) while translated in English (on the right page), made the book feel special. From an author that has written all her other works in English, this memoir-short stories-musings is a interesting glimpse into the inner workings of her mind or her Italian mind.
It also shows how a writer writes in an different language but it also shows how one learns a language and internalizes it - which I found really interesting with her perspective.

It was brief account. But it felt like listing the brands and the women involved and did that for the top brands. It was an interesting read, but I felt I was just reading bullet points. Granted, it was information I never knew but felt impersonal.
Straight and to the point, but that is what whiskey drinkers like, right?

Think of Bridget Jones' Diary meets Mean Girls with Colin Firth's wet shirt scene from Pride and Prejudice. It also felt young to read and being in my early thirties I felt too old to read this.
