Changed my rating from 4.5 to 5 stars

The illustrations, the characters, the joy, I fell in love with it all 😍 Very relatable in some aspects. The last page had me wishing there was more!  I borrowed the book from the library and will now buy my own copy 

A few of the poems really stood out and were beautiful. but I feel like I probably didn’t get some of the poems due the voice of the narrator which was a bit robotic. A few of the poems went over my head which probably had something to do with cultural differences and not knowing the indigenous experience.
