This is one of the most intimate and heartfelt memoirs I've ever read. All Americans should read this book.
This is excellent reading for anyone not so familiar with the intimate personalities and lives of our recent former presidents. You'll learn a great deal about their motivations, interests, and their continuing drive for helping humanity. It will indeed be interesting to see where Trump will fit in this "club" and how he will change once leaving the White House.
Parts of this one were more difficult to follow. The author's tenancy to insert minor characters as narrators and to tell whole parts of the story in dialogue from a second hand party is definitely an interesting mode of story telling. History happens to the everyman, I understand that. When a story is sometimes told that way it can be a lot to try to keep up with, considering so many of these everymen die or are never heard from again on our characters' journeys.
