I enjoyed Fragile Eternity a lot better than Ink Exchange, I'm not sure if it was because of Aislinn, Keenan and Seth being the main characters in this one again but there was something about Ink Exchange I hated so to read this and like it, was a huge sigh of relief.
I found Sorcha, as a character to be very appealing and interesting. I presumed she would turn out to be bad but for her to genuinely care for Seth was nice. I like that there's something about him that causes all four courts to care about him. He is a mutual weakness or a mutual strength to bring them all closer together.
Keenan is continuously a tricky character because as much as you want to like him, you can't help but root for Seth and Aislinn. I find Seth much more appealing than Keenan, he is a lot more honest and his intentions with everything are kinder.
I am looking forward to reading more!

I did enjoy this book but I thought I would enjoy it more so I'm giving 2.5 stars.
Treo seems like a great dog and it's amazing how many lives he was able to save with his unbelievable talents and training.
The one thing that put me off during the book was Dave's way of making Treo talk to him. I just didn't like it and for some reason it irritated me. I just feel it didn't suit the general feel of the story and bordered on a little bit silly.Other than that though, Treo's story was great and I will admit Ken and Sasha's deaths were hard and made me teary as did several heart warming bits in the epilogue

I won this on a goodreads contest and I have to say I'm really glad I did. It's the not the sort of book I think I would have picked up but when I saw it in the contests, I was intrigued and thought 'why the hell not'. Not only did the book arrive in a super quick time, I got a personalized postcard from Polly Holyoke, the author, a bookmark and she also signed the book. These acts of kindness warmed me towards this book before I even turned the first page.
I was immediately drawn into the story, it was easy to read but with an incredibly original plot that would be hard to find elsewhere. Everything about the ocean and the genetic alternations that the teenagers go through have clearly been thoroughly researched and shows the amount of effort Polly has put into her story. All the characters are distinctly themselves and Nere and Robry are so easy to fall in love with as out all the dolphins.
I would recommend this book for anyone looking to read a good adventure! And especially any readers who love dolphins!!

I have to say I really enjoyed this book. It was extremely heartwarming and as I have recently become a big fan of baking, I appreciated the recipes at the start of each chapter. It was a nice touch. Normally I hate children in books, I hate the way they exaggerate the 'baby talk' but I found Louis to be really funny with his admonishing of 'Caline' for her bad cake! And Darny was hilarious.
The Cupcake Cafe is a little bit like coming home on a rainy day, it's snug, warm and safe and you know nothing really bad could ever happen to hurt you. I will always enjoy coming back to Izzy and the gang, even if it's to catch up with the only fiction child I've ever really liked...my darling Louis. <3
