I was looking forward to reading this book for a long time, and I was a bit disappointed that I didn't immediately become sucked into the story the way I have with other books. I feel like it took a long time for everything to be explained, and also for the real feel of life on the ship to be discovered. Overall though I did enjoy it and I will be reading the others!
I give this book 4 stars because it really lived up to my expectations of it in humor stakes. It was very funny and a delievred a lot of great laugh out loud moments. The character Grace is very relatable for a lot of young women out in Ireland today, expected to know eevrything and be self assured in life by the age of 30 and want to get married and have children. Instead,Grace just does course after course in college, still trying to figure out what would make her truly happy.
I just wish there had been a better conclusion for Grace and Robbie's story. Instead of just hoping he would do what we all think he would do (himself being a top class kind of man) and take her back into his arms. I wish there had been some sort of conclusion on the wedding day maybe. I would actually really enjoy a sequel, simply because all of the characters are so funny, Lisa, Tanya, Norman, Bette the cat.
Top Notch Read!

Having read Under The Ombu Tree, I know what kind of writing style Santa Montefiore has. I love how she can wrap you up in the story of two lovers from the very beginning, and bring you right through their whole lives. There are an abundance of eccentric and beautiful characters that make the story so charming and you can't help but root for all of them in their own goals because Santa has a magic quality that makes you fall in love with each and every one.
I would highly reccommend this heartwarming story which brings you to the countryside of Devon to the hot plains of the Argentine. She really is a fantastic writer!

I really enjoyed this book...it is the first zombie book I have read as I am a really big scaredy-cat but I know that this will be the first of many zombie adventures!
I love the strength of the relationship that immediately forms between Jenni and Katie. Not only is it nice to have two strong, bad-ass female protagonists but to have two who are not only strong but kind and considerate makes you want to be friends with them. If I wass tuck in a zombocalypse, I would be glad to have them by my side!

Wow, what a lovely book and a fantastic read!
As soon as I started to read this tale, I immediately was head over heels in intrigue about the story. Being a journalist myself, I loved reading about the highs and lows of Kitty's career and her hunger and drive to tell Constance's story.
The different people that Kitty meets through Constance's list range from the perfectly normal to the slightly eccentric. They are all heartwarming people who through their belief of not having a good story, manage to tell Kitty the greatest stories of all.
