A refreshing retelling.

I love Greek Mythology, even though it can be dull at times. Stephen Fry did wonders with his re-tellings; his humor bolstering each tale and effortlessly weaving in the history/origination of modern day words and concepts we still use today. I listened (and read along) to this on audio, wishing that Stephen Fry could narrate every book.

This is the book that officially got me hooked on the series growing up.

Ooph. A difficult read on many levels but worth the time.

3.5 Stars

That SVU bit drug on too long, otherwise this would have been a 4 star read for me.
