Underwhelming. I love Neil Gaiman, but this was a bit of a bore for me.
I would've preferred more magic (I'll always prefer more magic), but what this book lacked in magic, it made up for in vibes. Specifically mystic, autumn-y, PNW vibes. Plus there's a good ol' who-dun-it mystery, with a wink of second chance romance.
Started out strong, and I was loving this, particularly when Dragons were more metaphorical, feminine, rage monsters that needed a change... but derailed my interest when the *actual* fucking Dragons came back to assimilate into everyday life, just chillin with family, friends, and society.
