That ending/cliffhanger leaves me needing the third book, NOW. Such a great story with even better characters. This (soon to be) trilogy has everything I could ask for: Exciting plot. Immersive world . Driven, evolving characters. ALL the violence. Dead Gods. Undead Gods. Creature features. Vengeance. Heartbreak. Friendship. Found family.

Love me a dark(ish) fantasy.The demonic chicken added some flare that I didn't realize the usual fairytales were missing. A fun read that I'll make sure to revisit.

I get it; it's a classic, it's prophetic, it's a glaring warning, and it's boring as hell to read... that being said, "DOWN WITH BIG BROTHER"

This was a quick, semi-cozy, witchy read. I wouldn't have been mad if it were longer and a few details (liiike more about Sophie) were fleshed out. All in all, a fun story.

Great little Halloween read. I'm a big fan of Halloween... and I kinda reeeally liked Halloween, the Fiend, as far as creepy, creature feature, villians go. The Townies seemed more the issue to me.
