i loved this so much. the writing was so engaging and made me instantly intrigued. i've been in a fantasy slump for a few months now, but this book has officially dragged me out of it!!! what I loved most was seeing shae struggle with her loyalty to the clan and her personal desires and aspirations. I also really loved anden's character and the way his fear was explored/discussed. ALSO, HELLO Ayt Mada?!??! WOW.
