This book changed my outlook on life overall in ways that I never thought of. I will forever recommend this book to people who are feeling lost. My only regret is that it took me years to finally read it, but I think I read it at the right time in my life where I needed it the most.

After having watched the movie before reading the book, it's no surprise the book is a million times better than what was adapted to film. Casting was completely wrong for the movie and I strongly believe that if this was ever re-adapted that it would work better as a tv series because of the amount of adventure and character development that took place throughout the book. The Host is not my favorite Stephanie Meyer work and I will admit that the story somewhat drags at parts, but overall I still enjoy the story and await a proper adaptation to screen.

Books normally don't make me cry but The Fault In Our Stars is definitely the exception. Even though it's focused on tragic teenage love, the secondary theme of life is too short is always something to keep in the back of your mind. I love love love this book. I also love the movie just as equal despite some of the changes (which I didn't mind).

This was a solid ending to the story, but I think I need to go back and read the events that led up to this story because it overall felt like a sequel. I do hope there are more stories with the Spider-Band thought because they’re a great team that each brings something unique to the table.
