Listen, I know full well that Hydra is evil. But I can't lie and say that their "goal" of overthrowing the government is well-intentioned in looking out for the majority and the poor (considering how much it's the opposite in today's world). Minus one star for the Jared and Jessica relationship because MENTALLY she is still a child (barf).
A good little intro to Black Cat away from her association with Spider-Man and Morbius. I would've preferred a longer segment of her story instead of having an (admittedly adorable) 2-page spread of her being a cat lover and a flashback segment of The Black Fox annoying Dracula just to showcase that he taught Felicia's dad everything he knows (even if the hissing vampires is just as hilarious on-page as it is on screen). Definitely makes you look forward to what other antics Felicia has up her sleeve though.
Reading these as a college student who wanted nothing to do with discussing politics and reading them as an adult who has more knowledge of politics and injustices is a completely different experience. Yes, Katniss ends up in the 'white savior' role, but the overall storyline of rebelling against a corrupt government is what you should really take away from reading these books.
Ranking: 1st - Catching Fire
2nd - The Hunger Games
3rd - Mockingjay
Although I do feel that this series could have been 2 books instead of 3 books.
*side note: I will forever be bitter with how Finnick was handled
