Obviously it’s hard not to compare what the MCU did with adapting this (considering most of the characters involved in the comic form don’t/didn’t exist in the MCU), but I still enjoyed this as the Infinity Saga’s inspiration. It’s completely action packed and engaging with (unsurprisingly) stunning art that sucks you into the story. Definitely want to go back and read the stories that lead up to this epic battle.

I really enjoyed this. It was high-stakes and utter chaos the whole time yet thought-provoking. Highly recommend reading 'Civil War' before this (or at least watching 'Captain America: Civil War' to get the gist).

This book made me feel so many emotions and it was perfect.

All of the emotion regarding school shootings is perfectly dosed for this short story, and these types of stories 1000% percent need to be told. I feel like this type of story would have been better suited for a longer form instead of a short story just because I tend to enjoy spending more time with my characters in emotional situations. But again, the author absolutely did her best with getting the point across in the page count of this story, and the more we normalize sharing these types of stories the better.

My rating is really more 4.5 because not only was this spicy all the way through but I got really invested in the characters and their outside activities. I'm also glad both men supported Heaven and Tasha because this story easily could have taken the toxic masculinity route. I absolutely want to check out more of Jackson's other works!

Such a great page turner! Very well paced. I was a little concerned that switching between 6 different narratives would be confusing but the author did a good job with making sure that nothing got too jumbled up. Also the twist was FANTASTIC! I really want this to be turned into a miniseries.

Every time I read this I'm always shocked by Jessica's father being a complete asshole because no child ever deserves the treatment she (and her mother) got from him. Still the strongest first issue of a comic series I've read so far.
