As someone who has a soft spot for anything music related, this one is by far my favorite of the 'A Point In Time' series. I think this story not only gives us a great look at the music and arts scene back in the day, but having the historical aspect about the structure that is Carnegie Hall was a real treat and I'm interested in learning more about other similar artist housing structures.

I love that the author was inspired by the additional research had done for another work to create this story because I feel like it really elevates that historical aspect of these horrific experiences. I absolutely want to read her other works purely based on this short story alone.

I wish I had this book when my mom passed away, but now that it exists, I’m glad that it will be able to help any person (regardless of age) dealing with the grief of losing a loved one. I love that she’s honest about not only the time before her mom’s passing, but also the constant feeling of being motherless after passing. While this book is at its core a book about discussing grief, I feel like it also provides its reader with a bit of hope that they are not alone in their feelings and that memories of our loved ones will last forever.

I enjoyed this a lot more than I had anticipated! This had a little bit of everything for modern romance consumers with just enough emotion to really get into your core. I also really appreciated having main characters who are not the conventional young-ish age range that most popular romance stories tend to veer towards and I'm never going to say no to an interracial relationship and bisexual male characters (because I think there needs to be more IMO).

This is about as satisfying of an ending to Janie’s reign of terror as I could’ve asked for, but I really wish this was a full-length novel instead of a short story.

Of course it was cool to learn about the race to space by MAN Carol deserved so much better.

This one totally ended abruptly (not quite cliffhanger status but very close to it). If anything, I hope this gets adapted so the story can be complete.

As someone who also has a deep love for movies and a soft spot for the Universal Monster Universe, this was a wild ride of drama that kept me on my toes. I think the multiple POV within each day worked really well, and this was entertainingly informative behind-the-scenes look at the pre-production aspect of film.

Very much leans more into the mystery aspect in this volume while satirizing influencer culture in a way that's fun, especially with a great mix of characters that you can either relate to or know someone similar.

Your girl was NOT prepared for a cringey flashback to high school but my god was I unable to stop listening. A bit on the predictable side for a YA, but I'm not going to be a snob and say that I didn't get a little emo with the ending. Definitely glad I listened to this on audiobook because this probably would've made me roll my eyes if I were reading a physical copy.
