I feel like I got more of what the story was intended to be from the synopsis but I still think this was engaging enough to want to read more from this author. Also enjoyed that they were calling out the millionaires who either do nothing or SAY they're doing something but not actually doing anything regarding climate change.

My only complaint is that I wish the characters were older, but I still think that younger readers and baby bisexual absolutely deserve this gem of a book. Can't wait for more from this author!

It was interesting to see what the author thought the climate of Los Angeles would be as opposed to how it actually is.

Standard high school rom-com, but I really enjoyed seeing a main character on the spectrum. I also liked that this didn't focus on racism because I feel like that would have taken away from Jessie's growth in regards to her diagnosis.

The dog couldn’t even save this book. I only kept listening because I was driving and couldn’t change it to a different audiobook.

I wish there was more of a time jump for this one because the overall plot felt like it would've suited a mid-20s age range as opposed to being teenagers. But overall, I still enjoyed this and hope that there can be more companion books in the 'XOXO' universe.

This was adorable and I'm so happy that there are quality YA books like this one that not only have a focus on Asian culture but also have characters that are motivated by other things than just being in a relationship. This also gives an informative look at the lives of K-pop idols so it can be applied to music-related studies of the genre.

Definitely one of the better traditional fantasy books I’ve read in awhile! Very well-rounded characters and plot and a perfect pace. I’ll be waiting impatiently for the sequel.

This is 1000% essential reading if you are trying to understand Palestine’s unfortunate history. This not only is a fantastic memoir filled with personal accounts, but she also brings to light just how fucked up all governments are.

Really bittersweet seeing how much she accomplished during her life only for the USA (and the world TBH) to be in the atrocious state it’s in now.
